As if we need ANOTHER movie franchise to juggle, it turns out the one that's been dormant for the last 5 years is making a comeback with a third movie! The Angry Birds Movie 3 has just been announced by SEGA and Rovio, and apparently there's a lot of hype behind it. With an IP that has amusement park presence, and was successful movies even when the app games were already old, I guess the question is does this franchise still hold the weight it had back in the early-2010? Knowing how Movie 2 went (Spoilers, I hate it. Movie 1 is miles better.), Rovio, don’t screw this up. The second movie is just not Angry Birds, it’s a spy movie with Angry Birds slapped on for marketing. And the characters in Movie 2, don’t get me started on how the characters were portrayed. Movie 1 at least felt like Angry Birds. The second one just feels like Rovio going “How do you do fellow kids?”

My hopes for the Angry Birds Movie 3? • Please stop trying to force this Red x Silver relationship on us, its cringe and unneeded. •PLEASE BASE IT OFF ANGRY BIRDS SPACE OR STAR WARS, or any other angry birds games for that matter. • The sequel almost had nothing to relate to the games other than Silver, and even then, she was turned into a nerdy, awkward girl and they shipped her with Red. The Sonic movies were great. If an Angry Birds movie can be close to that in terms of quality and storytelling, then I would actually like to watch this one. The two Angry Birds movies were mostly 5 or 6/10 (in my opinion). The Sonic movies were at least a 7/10 (opinion). I would like to see them improve the maturity and the tone in the next Angry Birds movie (kinda like the Spider-Verse movies and the recent Puss in Boots movie). But that is just what I want, it is unlikely given what we've gotten from the first two movies. Unless they pull a Puss in Boots where they make the 3rd movie so good nobody remembers the 2nd one that well. I don't think that will happen but we'll never know

I actually glad Angry Birds film is making a comeback, I highly enjoyed both 1 as well as 2. I wonder how they will close this trilogy if it does become a trilogy to finish it. Waited long enough.

honestly, i kind of liked these movies. for the plot of the movie, im suspecting something to do with the blues, because they were teased to have there powers in the first but they didnt do anything with them. hope they make Lenard a villain again because i think his character works better as one. they could also do an angry birds space movie, cause everyone loves those games

I don’t understand why people say the second film is better, as someone who grew up with this franchise I found the first film to be far more profound than the second. The second film is full of unnecessary deviations that overall hinder it. The first is simple enough and at the very least actively respects the franchise and understands the qualities behind it.
