I am a new knife collector from Windham, Maine. Finally a proper full-tang beat-the-piss outa me Mission 3!!! No rat tang and senseless cutouts n' holes! Gil Hibbens was my first big fixed blade knife and loved showing it off to people. Good of you to make them the way they should have been made! Rambo doesn't CNC a damn thing right!!?🤪🔪🔪

Amazing collection! I love how the Tribute combines multiple designs. The Mission III is insane! I remember that video you posted of that guy chopping up buffalo horn. The Woodsman also chopped a nail in half. That is a serious piece of steel!

totally agree about the sub hilt on the heart stopper I know they were really big with custom makers in late 70s early 80s but....they were all on wallhanger fantasy knives and that's where they should stay trying to use one IRL in a dire situation is probably a good way to break a finger

Very nice Donnie B. I do like the hammer handle on the two on the right. The Mission 3 is damn sexy. As is the one with the green handle. Mind you the Mission 4 chopper is one that really catches my eye as that would be a do all bush survival blade - that I could also chop up a deer with. If I could pick one it would be Mission 4. Which one of these, or any of the others from the DBAD line are the best fighters? I'm after something quick in the hand. It seems to me that many of these double up as camp knives ie wood processing tools, whereas true fighters such as those crafted by the late Bill Bagwell are dedicated to one task only. You did an amazing job with designing these Dbad. I promise that I will buy these for myself one day to review on my channel, my favorites out of the Mission series are the Mission 4 machete, Mission 3 bowie, Mission 2 and the Mission 5 & John J Tribute. Now your Mission 6, cool redesign but I don't know why you just didn't call it the Mission 5 Alpha or something else? What Happens when they do a Rambo 6, your redesign would be called the Mission 7? Now as for your other knife designs, I would have to say that the Old War Bowie, the Big Jim, and the Commando knife are my favorites as well. You keep cracking that whip in your mind and I can't wait for your next custom from either KHHI or Croco Knives. And especially your collab with Jed Hornbeak.

Hello sir. Love your designs and I own several of them. However, I experience some rust-issues on the blackened parts of the knives Dbad “Big Jim” and Dbad “Mission 2”. Any suggestions how to handle this? / counterattack this? How do you maintain your knives? My other polished Dbad-knives are totally fine. Thanks.

after use I always clen it, dry it to bone dry and sheath it with oil

the slanted guard of the Rambo III knife is awkward . . . hope this same knife is available with a proper guard instead of the angled type . . . so you modify knives . . . sword & knife fabrication is a very precise job, it has to be flawless every single time . . . not everyone can do that, only a select few . . . there are knives & there are knives, prefer the latter . . . keep up the good work . . .

I do original customs and due to requests, reimagined classics. I use multiple makers. The pieces I'm doing with Jed Hornbeak are completely original and I have 3 original designs with Croco knives and a monster Trench Knife. Always more to come

As a an ex vet and also a knive collector i find this funny. They are all a Croc of shite and absolutely no use whatsoever. Chuck them away and get a couple of decent blades. Even cheap Buck knives are better than these. I sharpen my own blades, what you're talking about is nonsense. Get a Buck 119 for 60 bucks and will last a lifetime. Maybe you are doing this for fun but you sound serious 😂

As a combat vet and a survivalist, I can tell you that we don't judge you for struggling your way through third grade. First, these are Rambo movie remakes than can take a beating. Second, if your tiny arms can't swing a mighty hunk of steel, or you simply lack the skills and knowledge on how to use a Bowie for a camp knife, maybe then you should stick to that little folder with the corkscrew and screw driver you got when you were a Brownie

Yes I have a lot of knives from ww2 pocket knives to some serious bushcraft and survival knives (I've studied bushcraft and survival since 1978); and I've some half decent Malaysian parangs and a couple of larger machetes from South America where I've worked.
