The reason why Natalie or Margarita likes the perfume is that Vera used the perfume the exact same one that makes her forget about her sister, so Natalie uses the perfume to forget about her abusive ex

@@DylanAlvarez-d7c so the perfume is literally a product from the Perfumer (I feel so daft for not guessing that, especially since I mentioned the perfumer in the video) 🤣 I’m not all familiar with the Perfumer yet or what she does during matches.

@@TheNekoPastel She's pretty simple. her perfumer just makes a copy of her silhouette when her perfume is used and you can basically go back to it when you use her perfume again. if you take damage while her perfume is active (when the silhouette is still present) she can use her perfume again to "forget" the damage inflicted on her.. pretty easy to get the hang of!

12:07, the different accent is actually the original Chinese VA, the whole story was dubbed in English, you can see the way they animated the mouth movement doesn't match with English because it was animated for Chinese. Makes sense since the game is originally in China, so the devs are still trying their best to cater to Western audiences, even if there are some misses.

Idk if you know this already but I'm going to leave this here anyway just I'm case! :)) There was an accident in their home, someone killed everyone at the circus they were all together in so they escaped from what I understand.🌷

So Mike was adopted into the circus by a person named bernard who is murros Uncle, murro didn't like it there so Mike helped him escape, sergi and margaretha were new people and joker and sergi got into a fight and spilled acid on jokers face, with jiker gonna blame mike cause it was mikes acid mike left to go get more. When mike returned he found the circus on fire so then he went searching to find the culprit and then received a letter to go to the manor

For further context on Murro, he hated Hullabaloo because he was very abused and isolated by Bernard since a ypung age, who deemed him Useless and Filthy. But Murro always had a good relationship with Mike, who is basically his brother through adoption (Bernard also technically adopted Murro). Mike actually helped Murro escape the circus, and I see this as a total act of trust on both of their parts because, though Mike Loved Hullabaloo, he still readily helped Murro leave without need of explaination. Murro also never told Mike of Bernard's abuse even upon leaving. I think this is because he saw how happy Mike was and didn't want to ruin that, thinking he was protecting him (canonically, Murro has a big savior complex and wants to protect everyone). The Morton Brothers are so sad and complex, they're my favorites :')

you stopped right before the best bits which is perfect because it meants you get them all next video LOL a lot of people have already filled in some gaps in the comments but here's a bit more I didn't see mentioned! -bernard was murros uncle but favored mike over him, neglecting murro and selling him as some "wild child" performance at the circus. the "youre a lot like the bernard i remember" is a Rough comment becuase the bernard mike got is Not the same one murro got. -sergei is margie's abusive ex and was just an awful person to everyone except mike. margie went to joker for help and he ended up obsessed with her -their circus troupe, the hullaballoo, was the victim of the Moon River Massacre. Not sure if you've finished the story but it's the driving force behind most of these characters. mikes main motivation is finding the culprit because, like margie said, he was kind of the only one treated well there and genuinely viewed it as his home. that's why he's a bit aggressive and touchy with the topic (yelling at vio in that scene, being aggressive w margie) -margie was raised in lakeside village and fled after being charmed by sergei and being convinced to marry him. her main motivation is money/nicer things because she didn't have Anything like that growing up. that also why water/fishing net is brought up with her a decent amount

I wanna add that Margie was also leading Joker on while Joker was obsessing over her back at the circus, which is also shown in the live action video when she let Joker caress her while Sergei wasn't looking. Sergei bullied Joker the most because of this, so it's probably painful for him to get mistaken for his bully by everyone, probably as painful as Murro getting compared to his abuser.

happy that finnally idv is making these lore events. this one was really good but too short in my opinion 😭 especially for new pleyers there are some holes which leaves new players/uninterested in lore confused

Watching your reaction was great! I hope you're enjoying the experience so far. I imagine it's pretty confusing for someone going into blind. There is a lot of info within the game that helps piece things together like the character deductions and the character day letters for example. This info can be found in the lore section of the IDV wiki so you don't have to put in a lot of time unlocking stuff in the game for the info haha. FYI, Violetta/spider/Soul Weaver has no limbs. She was born without them and used to be part of a freakshow due to her condition. All of those spider limbs are prostheses. I don't know if you finished the event by the time this video was posted. I imagine so, but I'd still love to recommend a few videos from the official Identity V youtube channel that adds a bit more background to the story event. They're all pretty short (2-5 minutes long). i binged through the entire story until midnight and it was such an emotional rollercoaster ride for me... because i was constantly on edge for jumpscares, and trying to figure out the story and i also felt bad for violetta.. and piecing everything together when it was over ;; all i have to say is after i finished the story, i was so depressed, sad and angry... TT then i looked into the voice actors for the characters because i was so in awe by their performance, especially one character.. you'll see what i mean :p but yeah after everything i saw i just sat there while listening to sad music and it took me around a week to recover from the story man. 😭

It is honestly bad how they integrate the character stories into the in-game lore. You need to do a lot of research in order to understand the characters and their motivations better. Other than that the writing is pretty bad and very unfriendly for the newcomers. At least from my experience. They could definitely have done it way better.
