DBFZ Patch 1.38 Breakdown: Frieza

Frieza c assist hit frame 20 fullscreen because of how close he spawned to the enemy. He now spawn further away making hit at a later frame(31) . However since they buffed the rocks it works better as an anti air assist where last patch it was like a frame 20 fullscreen lariat

Jump in Light >aerial down S > H seems to be safe from down H and you are plus on block around 7 frames of done correctly. Can also continue with aerial neutral S >down heavy which leaves you plus 1 ish on block. So if you get a safe jump on off knock down frieza can hit 3-4 overheads in a single block string as you can qs Ball jab on the way down as well.

I feel golden frieza might as well be permanent with that lenght, you should only lose golden if you want to do sorbet laser or combo into "You must die by my hand!"

@@mynameisbaxter5565 i’d say it’s been usable since last patch. Even though it’s a ki blast it is plus on block, and freeza namely uses it to combo off of disks into 2H. The air version leads into some extensions off 2H if you have other projectiles set up

@@cdmangaka I just bought the game and I was told that frezza was just a bad character, but I’ve been saying this new patch in my KZbin recommended and people are saying that every character is overpowered

@@mynameisbaxter5565 You gotta take any information you get with a grain of salt. Cause this game is basically "old" now and also just got a very fresh balance patch. So it's hard to say who's good/bad unless you're talking to someone who's been playing the game regularly for the past 4 years or so. Otherwise a lot of people talk out there ass in regards to balance. So just play who you like, and learn the game.

​@@mynameisbaxter5565Frieza isn't bad at all dude, he just requires you to use your head a little more than other characters at higher level play, but man he's got style! He's my favorite. And for beginners he's great because he can be spammy as heck
