How do you consistently get the kamehameha into SD to go downward? Been having trouble with that, always ends up sideways even after aiming it down

It just takes a bit of practice, after a while if practicing it you should get it consistently

Pay attention to the buttons and timing. The height matters so you may not be at the right height.
