Check out one or two videos back up in this Playlist he breaks it down. Long story short he'd rather spend the time personally with his community watching and talking about current events. In this case he also just got done with heat wave and was sick right afterwards a couple of days. Haha he actually discusses all this in this Playlist

I’m not sure if the mv leaks are true cause I know the main dev himself has confirmed that he’s down to do third party characters but some of it may be true or Wb themselves could have scrapped the idea of third parties
