Nah, give them a fun breather arc to serve as a break between Goku and Vegeta dealing with cosmic level threats that also doubles as a way to stealthily bring their power levels up to roughly where Gohan was at their age. Something that's a lot closer in tone to Early Dragon Ball's Gag Manga roots. Hell, if DBS did cover stories like One Piece, they'd be perfect candidates for one, IMO.

I don't know how canon it is, but Trunks and Goten create a sword-focused dojo after super. Krillin and Tien also found Turtle School and Crane School (tien already has the basis for it in super, Tien shin style dojo)

Yes they are useless and Superhero proved that. We could’ve gotten Ssj3 Gotenks but the writers just love being trolls. Goten and Trunks are the definition of “put the fries in the bag”

I think piccolos ki cannot be sensed because he has kami inside of him, so technically he is god. Thats why when goku was fighting hit, piccolo came to know goku transformed in to blue

I can’t stand trunks and goten. As soon as they learned fusion they never trained in their normal form. Plus goten to my knowledge never trains. Since we never see him with goku or gohan training so they remain stagnant. Plus with their reliance on fusion for literally everything makes the individuals pointless. I want to like them but the writing never allows them to be better. Even adults in the movie they rely on fusion which again pisses me off. They’ve never developed past the buu saga.

This really isnt much different from z. They were always incompetent and their training was mainly focused on basics and fusion. Always thought they were stupid characters. What a waste of the potential for trunks.
