Rooster tails just Catch more Fish! Creek Destroyer!

I love fishing with Roostertails and they always seem to catch fish. I went creek exploring and wanted to see what they would catch on this day. If you wanna know how to fish a roostertail go down to walmart buy a 1/8 ounce or smaller and head to the creek. As a beginner I fished with these when i was a kid and they taught me so much about bass fishing and how fish react to lures and where fish hide.

I still prefer jigs, they come thru structure better especially timber, rooster tails arent very good for that, plus I always get harder strikes on jigs. Rooster tails are good but I dont like to throw em unless theres alot of shad present, If im only seeing minnows in the creeks which is most of the time Im going with jigs.

Yep jigs get bit really good but for me it also depends on the water clarity and adding that vibration, and flash can be a game changer somedays

I love rooster tails. I got a bunch of them in my tackle box and various kits. Lately, I have started trying Panther Martins. Have you tried these?

Oh yeah! I’ve tried the panther martins and they work but I haven’t found any that rotate and go as slow reeling as you can with a roostertail. The panther martins definitely catch them tho!

@@TBassFactory Yeah, I noticed that too. You have to crank the Panther Martins faster than a rooster tail. Rooster tails absolutely rock for slow retrieve.

The rooster tail that has been working best for me this year is mustard . Cabelas and bass pro do not have the color mustard, but fish usa does . I have been limiting out with it most days in 10 - 30 minutes . I bought a few more since the color is hard to find at a good price . I have not had much luck with any other color rooster tail this year.
