@@bonvctwent to my first Mayer concert in October (2 months ago today actually!) but I’ve listened to Mayer since I was in middle school and Rooms for Squares came out. I always hid my love for Mayer’s music because I’d say before born and raised…if you weren’t some teenage girl then it was weird that you enjoyed his music lol. Heard him first in 2001 and finally got to see him live with my wife this year 2023. He’s our favorite artist. That other comment about getting to enjoy the show free at home…no. It’s COMPLETELY different being personally live with John. His concerts are extremely fun and he’s got a sense of humor too 😂

Seen John live. Absolutely incredible. Arguably the most talented musician of his generation. True fans appreciate his genius however it’s sad it’s often overshadowed by the travesty that is modern pop music. Whatever. Radio sucks anyways. I will say no matter where he plays or what album he’s promoting…as soon as that first riff of Gravity hits, it’s mesmerizing. Don’t stop creating beautiful, compelling music John.

The likeness to Eric Clapton's circa-1990 live "aura" (when he also happened to be John's exact current age) is striking. Very similar clothing, hair, and new-music-release stylings. I wonder how much of it is intentional on John's part.
