It's a game, it doesn't prove anything. We already know that they're relative to each other, seeing as blue wasn't enough to defeat either of them. We don't know who's stronger and most likely won't ever find out, but it's probably safe to say that jiren would win if he was serious about eliminating the threat. I can answer that correctly. Broly is a gifted fighter who learns quickly. This is not his power this is his gifted intellect believe it or not. This is confirmed in the manga by just watching Gohan he masters his super Saiyan form like nothing. Broly however does not have limitless power. This is people using Z broly statements on this one which is not true. The reason broly kept getting stronger is cuz he transformed. Got clapped by red Vegeta, then transformed Got clapped by blue Goku, then transformed Got clapped by gogeta ss, then transformed In each of these scenarios broly was losing with no way of adapting and overpowering his opponent. So it's a misconception by the fans to say broly can adapt and grow infinitely

A post tourney stronger goku said Brolys power after turning just ssj was so powerful he couldn’t beat Broly alone. Vegeta after witnessing MUI goku told goku it’s pretty obvious you won’t defeat him by yourself and goku for the first time fully admits it. Goku then grabs Vegeta and runs away. Goku then states fusion is their ONLY chance they had in beating Broly. Frieza In the novel after witnessing MUI goku thought Broly was so powerful no one would be able to beat him. Frieza didn’t know about fusion. All the guides state Broly was the most powerful opponent to date and power above a god of destruction. After the fight he would get a huge zenkai. Even if Jiren was somehow more powerful Broly would surpass him in a second.

Therefore, broly in two ways is confirmed stronger then jiren. Of course jiren can clash, but he was definitely losing that beam struggle. And why of course would they not show anything past that. Because they wanna leave viewers hooked. Like leaving a hope that jiren didn’t fully lose, but he definitely did. You lose a beam struggle at max power, you definitely aren’t built for whoever’s winning. Broly is the sigma

Jiren was tied with Broly in this case, the beam struggle was only longer for Broly because it was a mouth blast, it didn't move. So Broly and Jiren are equal in this game, but this is a increased Broly, so this is saying Jiren will clap SSB Gogeta, which is true anyway

I understand the movie takes place before the cell games, but that’s a whole different timeline where the Z fighters seem to be stronger.
