I think the only way this could be better is if you a) just picked it up from 0:47, cuz I mean, really lol... Then every, what, 8 reps? 16? 32?(there's certainly room for it haha!) If you had given us just an *occasional* revisit of a single rep - a taste, if you will - from the 0:51 mark, when the drums chill, and you can really feel that atmosphere develop all the way back. You get the first little synth bass ditty again too lol. That would have been literal perfection of execution. But yeah. Either way, you fkin nailed it, dude. Your tastes are dead on balls accurate, and you've done us all such a service in providing a PROPER extension of the PERFECT section of the tune. COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!

This is exactly what i was looking for holy shit. I love the drum break l, I'm an absolute noob at using ableton and fl studio but I really feel this drum break can be used in old school hiphop songs

I think you're right. You know what? You may have just inspired me to get in there with Maschine and sample the ever loving crap out of this tune. I'm talkin top down, front to back, no stone unturned straight pillage style! And thanks to this version, there's all kinds of room to keep whole loops, phrases, and individual tones tucked into just one sampler instance. Oh yeah, I'm starting to see it come together. So you can do something like hold the full loop on C1, then put the pads atmospheres and multi-instrument phrases across C2, then individual notes starting with kick snare hats on C3-D#3, bass E3-G3, then G#3-D#4 are the plucks. And there, my friend, you have FULL control of the ENTIRE range of instrumentation, stacked by row over a tidy 4x4 pad grid, to jam on til you've fully ascended. Especially goes for my fans of the MPC, Maschine, or like Push, Launchpad, or your choice of any midi pad in the world routed through Fruity Pad Controller (though Slicex, my day1 Edison, or even the built in FL/Ableton sampler can make more than light work out of this without so much as breaking stride)! AND after all that, you still have the entire top half of the range to just get disrespectful with the intro & outro if you want - cuz you KNOW AT MINIMUM we need thm very last couple snare/tom hits too baby boyyy!!! My god, it's too perfect! There's already soooo much in that drum break that has become etched into the darkest foundations and fundamental depths of how I write my percussion in present day. That hi hat line??? Bruhhh I mean what are we even talking about here!!! Hell yeah dude. Many thanks for the inspiration. It's really coming fewer and further between these days, that's for sure...
