Am I the only one who wanted Gohan, still frustrated with how many half-hearted attempts he made to defeat Cell that got people killed (like Goku) to be the one who kept training with Piccolo and Vegeta, becoming the first Saiyan to go SSJ3? Gohan going SSJ3, overpowering the Supreme Kai’s plans, vaporizing Videl’s opponent, and channeling some Vegeta Saiyan “nah, no waiting lile the Android Saga, we’ll disintegrate Babbity and Buu now!” would’ve stopped how much death?

Wee, this is why the English dub of Dragon Ball Z is better. The music is much more intense and fitting than the original dub, where it sometimes lacked music at all. Plus, the voice actors Funimation chose had much more fitting voices than the seiyuus, at least for Dragon Ball Z.

Sometimes they overplayed music though. There are times where there should be no music for suspense, etc.

@@intelligentignorance True. One prime example of that is Majin Vegeta talking to Goku during their fight. The Funimation Z dub added dialogue over the flashback, but the original Japanese didn't have any dialogue for that section

SSJ3 was useless from the beginning. Goku didn't use it to stop Fat Buu because he wanted Gotenks to beat him. And in the end, SSJ3 wasn't even used to defeat Kid Buu, the Spirit Bomb did that job. And SSJ3 did nothing against Beerus in Battle of Gods. From the point SSJ3 has been introduced, it has literally achieved nothing.
