I always liked Gohan but through my rewatches over the years. He has grown to become one of my absolute favourite characters in Dragon Ball. Sure, I don't like it when he gets nerfed. Yet, at the end of the day, Gohan isn't someone who wants to push himself or be the strongest like Goku and Vegeta. More than anything, he just wants to live a peaceful life with his family and friends. Yet he rises when he is needed, that powerful warrior we all know comes out. He is there to defend when those dear to him are at risk. Gohan is like a guardian, fighting for the most noble of reasons. To protect those dear to him. He is truly one of the greatest characters in Dragon Ball history

There is no way to explain how much this theme embodies the epitome of Gohan's journey. It gives off calm vibes with a powerful undertone that sums up all his experiences, from the cute little cry baby tugging on Goku's legs to the powerful warrior that bests Cell.

Toriyama gave so many of us such great moments as children and as adults. Dragon ball super will not be the same, I just hope they don’t mess it up with him being gone.
