My dads stepbrother was good friends with Jason growing up. Back in the DWAC days as a kid I was super into Kid Rock and when I was up in Michigan Jason let me and my brother come visist their studio. I still remember how awesome it was and he was a solid dude.

We use to hang out with Jason's brother "Chris" in Denver! Don't know what happened to Chris tho. Went to see Kid Rock with him and was suppose to go back stage with him to meet Jason, but got to the show too late! That's when Pamela was with Kid. Missed out, still bummed about that! Wish Jason still rocked with the"Kid"..

That spalted maple wine red Hailfire is simply beautiful. Jason Krause 's pedalboard is weird though; it is almost made up of uniquely of overdrive, distortion and booster pedals which is odd to see for a big act like KidRockVideos ..

Curious why do you think it's weird? I'm wondering why you say that because now that technology has caught up, I found out there are no accurate tablatures out for kid rock. I just ordered the Devil without a cause album music book so I've got what he plays but I can't accurately replicate his tone. I also just got an Axefx 3 so I'm here learning what he's using. But I'm not getting close to his sound with my Axefx paired with my Mesa Triple Rectifier. Mind you this equipment is new to me but I realized if you listen to I am the Bullgod, Jason's tone is like in between a high gain/distortion/metal sound and overdriven. Trying to learn his songs so I can jam out but I'm a tone freak all the way. If I don't sound remotely close as what I'm listening to, I go insane for days tweaking.
