The ding-a-ling on the guitar must have been paid to either interfere with Breuer's act, or someone set him up for a career ending moment. Doubtful anyone would have him in the band on a live show again. Breuer probably couldn't think clearly enough to do Pesci... that was so intrusive, bad etiquette = lousy musician. I agree with the comment about 'walking back and slapping him...' lol. Unplug the patch chord and stick in his 'renderer.' haha

So you were in charge of this act? Then why didn't you tell Breuer it was stupid to have the guy play during his routine? You waited until NOW to say something? Kind of too late now! I didn't get the guitar backing at first, but it worked as I kept listening, and reminded me of a time my older brother (drummer) and I (bass guitar) were asked to accompany a small black church that was having a special event. The pastor encouraged us to play as he got into it. We looked at each other like "whaaaat??" - cause we had never done that in a church before. At one point, I dredged up part of a lick from Led Zeppelin, and my brother just shook his head. I thought it worked, but he thought we might get tossed.

Back in the '80s, I heard a story about how some old white lady was riding the elevator in an expensive hotel. The elevator stopped at a floor and Eddie Murphy and his minders stepped in. The lady got nervous, and when Eddie said 'Hit the floor', meaning that one of his entourage should press the button for the floor he wanted, she lay face down on the ground and offered them her pocket book and jewelry. Eddie paid her hotel bill.
