I love how Lille went from this cool sniper guy to a literal Angel with a chicken head, dragon neck, and centaur legs thingy. Kubo really went overboard with Lille and I like it 😂

I personally don't. I hate that he was the only one to get an ugly form, despite being a cool character. This reminds of what he did with Tosen. The form can symbolizes something but still look cool

He’s the perfect foil to Tousen of all people- both are zealots who are on the surface- no-nonsense stoics, but are gradually to be revealed to be completely insane as they revel in how power-mad they become as they transform. The difference is that Tousen was driven by revenge that he hypocritically disguised as justice and while he became ecstatic with his new sight to acquire additional hubris- there was ultimately some humanity remaining as evidenced by his most monstrous form possessing remnants of his human mouth before reverting back to his Shinigami as he regained his rationality just before he died- after it initially seemed like he was a lost cause with his fully face covered Hollow mask. Lille in contrast has always been a crazy zealot deep down and while he initially disguised as a cold sniper- his transformations reveal how much of a Templar he truly is. In contrast, only the lower half of his face is covered initially making him appear human in an otherwise weird angel form before his 2nd transformation that turns him into an unrecognizable owl dragon and remains that crazed loon creature for the rest of his appearance- showing how monstrous he truly is.

The Owl design may have been based on an Owl demon known as stollas or something. Probably showing us that despite his supposed zealotry and being a messenger of God, his actual heart is of a demonic nature.

I like Nanao and found the reveal total BS. I think the idea of a Lieutenant defeating insanely powerful enemies through tools and wit is excellent but randomly having the perfect counter is lazy.

Yeah, some angels are described in the bible as having a central mass, covered in eyes, with wings also covered in eyes. The way they're described is horrifying, would you really want to meet such a creature?

Something I've always been curious about is just what exactly Lille is. Along with Askin he is Quincy, whereas Pernida and Gerard are either part of or are empowered by Reio, and yet his abilities are truly godlike as well. I'd love a back story for Lille.

Lille being named both a Sternritter and Elite Guard at the same time might've had something to do. That ,for a single quincy, is like being blessed twice. Those two privileges might be the reason Lille calls Yhwach "God". (The only one to explicitly do so)

@mandalorianhunter1 He certainly fits the "biblical angel image": the kind of celestial beings that are terrifying to look at, even when they mean no harm. 🥶🥶 Which is part of their purpose. All angels ,from highest to lowest-ranked, are supposed be these celestial monsters that aren't meant to be looked at directly; much less by human eyes. Quilge Opie already talked about how the sternritters' holy forms are supposed to look fearsome.

Lille always struck me as the absolute pinnacle of what a standard Quincy could become. He's the only member of Schutzstaffel prior to Uryu and Askin to have been strong enough to not be a part of the soul king, even being recognized as their leader.

The Quincy religion sure is fascinating considering Yhwach preaches for nothing but strength, hatred and resentment. Until his sternritters are as ruthless, cold and violent as he is. Devoted to the bitter end let to a very painful defeat of Lillie. Hopefully Kira‘s role will be expanded as he is a merciless enforcer. Maybe Uryu also destroyed some of Lillie‘s pieces after the war.

I think Lille Barro is a great example of the potential of a Sternritter. Most of them have amazing Schrifts that can just bulldoze the competition, but most of the time their own personalities get in the way. For instance, I've always thought that Lille is what Gremmy could've been.

Would you consider Lille's final angel form as some sort of quincy "Bankai" or "segunda etapa"? I don't think we've seen other Quincies go past the "wings and crown" release. Or is it more of a "hollowfied" hougyoku aizen form where he pushed himself past his limits and thus ended up looking like a beast (though that makes me wonder if he could do his trumpet/horn of god "beam" while in his first coccoon-like form)

@@GrandisArcanum Due to how Lille's dialogue is all "I'm close to god" thing, I honestly think that it might just be something only he can do. That being said, other Sternritter have pretty impressive forms as well. Like Quilge and even Gerard's Voll stern dich seem to have limitless capabilities. The one reason I don't want to call Voll stern Dich a Quincy Bankai is because unlike a Shinigami's whose powers are their own, the Quincy's are not. They require reishi from the environ to activate. Most shinigami's can simply use Bankai whenever they wish. Also, if they've stolen a Bankai, then they can't use their holy forms either

@@surprise_electrical9283 Yeah I see where your coming tbh. the medals or Medallions always seem to be a lesser version of Sankt Altar that Yhwach tried to user on Ichibe to take his power. He also used it to completely absorb the soul king and Mimihagi into himself dooming himself to be the next soul king candidate when he’s defeated.

Wrong. Lille was the first Sternritter; the first quincy recruit to be named so by Yhwach. Lille and the other Elites had to have been the ones who trained Jugram back in the day (he wouldn't have been chosen as Yhwach's right-hand man otherwise)

@@AJ-kt5zowe do know that his father Adyneus was in the primordial sea(the world before the three worlds). My guess is that Adyneus originally came from hell. But then again he could be the antithesis of hell itself being in the primordial sea. Yhwach in the anime was shown being born there(presumably sent to the living world like Christ) as well.

His soul society multiple birds form was more akin to those little black creatures that MimihagixYhwach sent down. Multiple in nature? Yes. Easy to kill? Also yes. What more could be shown? People going around and chopping up small chicken like creatures for multiple panels?

@@GrandisArcanum It was said in CFYOW that all of the Owls were defeated. If anything, I would have replaced Shinji's bankai scene with that, and have Shinji defeat Lille's owls. Otherwise, yes, I want a scene showing how the Shinigami are going to fight against them. I have a hard time believing that Kira just beats all of them single-handedly.

Nice video, but you got two things wrong: 1. That wasn't a bullet he fired. His schrift, the X-axis, uniformly penetrates anything between his target and the muzzle of his gun. It cannot be dodged or blocked. 😂😂 see what I did there? 2. Senjumaru's bankai didn't "seal" lille barro. It killed him. It also killed Askin. It only sealed Gérard, almost killed Uryuu with an Auswahlen, devoured Pernida in sand and I don't even know what was happening with jugram. I honestly still don't understand why people think Senjumaru's bankai is a seal. Kubo already explained her powers perfectly.

@@surprise_electrical9283 I believe it was also explained in the blu-ray box for TYBW cour 2. It's explained that her Shikai: Shigarami. Has the ability to summon infinite reishi threads which Senjumaru can freely manipulate in any way. That's how she was able to create a fake royal palace and floating islands, clones, body parts that could heal Oetsu, an umbrella that could collect and manipulate reishi, literally anything including the Shihakusho which every soul reaper wears. Her bankai is explained to have the ability to summon infinite reishi tanmono fabric which she can use to create any scenario she chooses. That's why she can create hollows, a room that reflects opponents attacks which she used to kill lille barro, the iron maiden, the ice, the lightning, lava, and even a frigging Auswahlen. So, you're almost correct. And For some strange reason, people want to ignore that this is literally the second most broken zanpakuto in bleach besides Ichimonji and maybe kyokasuigetsu.

Please Studio Pierrot do this fight justice. Do not cut corners. Let the animation be super crazy and entertaining. May the dialog be excellent. Hell I'm asking for to much with this one but take out that in between card within each episode and let the battle take up two episodes FULLY. I just want this battle to shine brighter then ever and of course blow out the manga version of itself. Asking for a lot I know but to say that I am looking forward to this battle would be a understatement. Crossing fingers in anticipation and also- in Kubo we trust! 🤞

I just hope the Ise family is more explained. If Oh Etsu and Ichibei first made it to combat Reio and cursed the Ise family so they'd stay loyal, that could be a storyline that would be pretty cool. It's just something that gives us reason to believe that Zanpaktou has that kind of power.

In other words, Lille Barro while on the surface has this calm and stoic nature, he's crazy and believes in his delusions of grandeur that he's a Man of God(Yhwach). When activating his Volstaddig, he's more a monster than man and his second form he lost all sense of humanity and needed Nanao to use her zanpakuto to stop him.

It’s crazy how if we actually lived in the Bleach universe that Ywach would literally be Jesus and the Elite Guards his Archangels. And I’m not even being sarcastic or making this up! If you literally look up a lot of stuff that happened in Bleach and the Quincy it goes 1 and 1 with each other. For example; in Japan if I’m not mistaken Japanese(Shinigami) killed and slaughtered all of the Christians(Quincy) there were in Japan 400 years ago. But in Bleach it was 200 years ago. And there was something really similar that happened 2,000 years ago but for Bleach it happened a 1,000 years ago. And Ywach’s name is almost the same as Yahweh the God of Israelite kingdoms and of Judah and Israel. But but his name is written as YHWH. And I can’t remember Ywach’ father the Soul King’s name right off the top of my head but if I’m not mistaken he’s name is really close to the Hebrew God’s name. There’s a lot and I mean a lot of stuff that show Quincy are supposed to be pretty much like Christianity. One of the biggest symbols of this is what is a symbol that we use to represent Jesus and Christianity? We use crosses. And what do Quincy use? The Quincy Cross lol.

@@House.Of.Pain. Only thing you got wrong is the "archangels" part. Those are just 3rd class soldiers. It's the seraphim that make up God's elite troops. They are the 1st class guard. The ones closest to Him.

@ honestly you’re right. The cherubim are right under the seraphim. But the Seraphim are the ones who sit next to God and pretty much just praise him. The Cherubum are supposedly the Elite Guard if I’m not mistaken. It’s been awhile since I actually looked into all of the history and lore so I could be mixed up. But I’m pretty sure that Seraphim just stand next to God while the Cherub protect him. I only brought up the archangels due to the fact that ArchAngel Michael was the leader of God’s Army and was the to actually defeat Satan. If you were to break down Ywach’s Elite Guard I’d say Jugram is the Seraphim, the one always right next to God giving him his praise. And the Schuttzstaffel is more likely the Cherubs or the Archangels. If I’m not mistaken Lille is based off of Uriel the Archangel of Light. And I believe Gerard is supposed to be likely based off of either Archangel Raphael or Michael. But I believe it’s more than likely Raphael the Archangel who deals with healing and miracles. With a lot bit of Norse mythology thrown into it. But Idk about Perinda or Askin though🤷🏾‍♂️.

@@House.Of.Pain. About Gerard... Rather than him being literally the Soul King's heart, I think he's the host for the heart. Like Ukitake was for Mimihagi, the Right Hand. Quincies are an ancient species themselves, and have been thriving for over a millennium. They all come from diverse backgrounds: same reishi powers, different races/nationalities. Gerard may've been a quincy viking; yes, seriously. A quincy norseman, from 9th century Scandinavia ,(Danish/ Icelandic/ Finnish) who stepped up as heart vessel candidate sometime after the Soul King's sacrifice.

For basically as long as Bleach ran, it had a nasty habit of many of its fights going "New enemy has unique power; shinigami of the week's unseen shikai/bankai just happens to be perfectly designed to counter that unique power." Senjumaru is the real goat (edit: Nanao too. She never fought a real battle once in her life, but faces a full powered Lille. Simply goated (a honrary mention, as there can only be one real goat at a time.) She "sealed" their fate, not them. The others are just pawns doing what they have to do to realize said fate. Now that's a power worthy of making the 3 realms tremble. (headcanon oc) Btw, after activating his holy form, Lille does't shoot bullets. His power ereases everething between his muzzle and his target. It has to be after the release, or it would't make much sense that the cage of life absorbed the "reishi bullets" he fired earlier.

Yes Lille Barro is one of the strongest men and Yhwach's chosen one he's surprisilly strong almost killed even Squad Zero's Senjimaru herself and he have a rocket launcher dude almost like Soi Fon have it too! But is he a Quincy as having a rocket launcher, Superstar hasn't nothing only he's own muscles powers, one of them had a pistol, Haschwalt have a sword and Gerald have a sword and a shield and looks like a Roman solider why and how there's that diffrent looking Quincies are every of them really Quincies? 😮

None of them died per say due to any of the methods she used. It just foreshadowed major events from final battles. Like jugram vs bazz b, toshiro freezing gerard for a while, lille getting weakened due to his own powers hurting his halo and so on
