It’s just Haywire being told by the Clock King about Waller’s backstory and origins (in which she blamed superheroes for the death of her husband, which didn’t happen) before Waller met Failsafe and asked Dreamer (whom would betray her and save the heroes during or at the climax of Absolute Power) about her future involving the superhero community. That’s it.

How sad that they killed off Zebra Man off panel. Tragic! The artwork and storyline seem promising. I want to see Amanda Waller to return to Earth 3 and scheme from there. Maybe the Light somehow brainwashed the government to agree with Amanda's plan and provide her unfettered access to resources to make her plan a reality.

Brainiac making the Brainiac Queen, or "Brainia" as I have heard some people call her, I feel like that is part of Brainiac's plan. He was monitoring Amanda Waller and everything. He knew that she was going to betray him. Also, with the Brainiac Queen, I find it too... convenient for Brainiac ti creatre her and she turns in him and she sides with Amanda Waller. I feel like he has a contingency plan in case that happens, or at least he should have one. Maybe he knew that all of that was going to happen and he did something like faked his defeat or traveler somewhere else to take them on later. Or... He does something like implanting himself or his mind or his programming or something like that into the Brainiac Queen and should she be defeated then Brainiac will rise from her and with Brainiac Queen being so close to Waller and helping fight the heroes and all of that, then he could have access to a ton of information and Failsafe Zurr En Arr and having the heroes imprisoned and at his mercy and all of that, and he can become more dangerous, or something like that. I just don't think that Brainiac will be desposed of or thrown away that easily. Tell me what you all think.

It's all events, alwats has been lol. I've been reading comics for 40 years, if you think this way, comics arent for you. I've watched the rise, fall, and return of every character at this point. You can't keep it in one story forever and have it be interesting.

@@AceTheBatHound99 problem is every cross over is connected. Why does the justice league not exist? Got to read Dark Crisis. Why is there more than one multiverse? Got to read Death metal. Why is there a bunch of evil batmen? It's fine if Superman decides to hang out with Batman, or Batman needs help solving a case from Barry Allen. Or even a Justice League Comic. But why does there have to be a universal treat every couple years. Also, how many times have they used the Omniverse? And now there's a whole bunch of new earths to explore now. And the Justice League is dead. But we only really have a little bit of time to explore this before it changes again. Things will immediately get forgotten or thrown away for the next big event. Somehow each event changes everything and somehow won't be able to change anything because we don't have time for that.

@@sandwichqueen So read them later... No ones forcing you, there's no time limit. Things happen & you don't want to keep up with them them, but it sounds like they intrigue you. I admit it's hard to follow but it is what it is, a story factory. You can't just rant about the fact that DC employees a plethora of talent who all have to wait & take turns sharing their visions. Imagine working there for 10 years & they refuse your hard planned event because, "There's already stuff happening, it's TOO interconnected." Like, you just ranted about 10 different EPIC events from the last 8 years. Sounds like you're keeping up fine. It's a you problem mate, not a event release problem.

I really am on the fence still on weather or not I'm going to get this run. The Batman aspect is a negative in my view because I'm really tired of the Batman of zhurenar. Amanda Waller is always the same story no matter what she's in so I already know where that's going. Brainiac would be the only saving grace and I'm already getting the house of Brainiac series.

I honestly wonder if the writer goes to the top & says “I have major crossover event and way to make it about Batman” or is there a directive “all major events must center around Batman” It makes me somhappyntomknkw 1985 Crisis was not like this. I love Ostrander’s original Amanda who would cross lines but was on the side of good. Currently, she is all,out evil. I think the Earth 3 story was just thrown out cause current story has no place for any of its developments. Ooo… Amanda can control and make deals with any entity in the DCUnsuchnas Darkseid, Spectre, Trigon, etc. what the what!? This seems to cheapen and lessen these entities. They need Amanda like that or cannot squish her!? She takes over Earth 3,,so why not the Hall,of Justice? The believability of her reach and threat is beyond belief and laughable. Batman is the most dangerous threat to DC cause the writers can’t seem to use any other characters to build story. Oh wait…Amanda can cross universes and control or utilize mega powerful mystic entities as easy as playing solitary.

If superheroes were real, I'd be on the side of someone like Amanda Waller. Humans are bad enough. If people could have powers, the right thing to do would be to destroy them. I know that Waller is meant to be seen as a villain, but I see her as being heroic.

Failsafe can solo the JLA but he needs Waller's help? And Waller is a criminal, she's the type of person Failsafe would try &lock-up. And I stopped reading Green Arrow cuz it started to bore me &become a little non-nonsensical but glad Oliver didn't just side with Waller for no reason or just cuz. Everything you're complaining about I totally agree with &it's clear that this is bad editing &or continuity control at DC. Never cared for her character, just seems like a Karen in a position of power and being a mean C is her whole persona. Haven't bought a DC or Marvel comic in twenty years and this isn't going to change that.

I think this is going to reboot the universe I hope so because I want the multiverse gone I want to go back to the post crisis one universe DC universe they can have elseworld stories for all them stories like Kingdom come and all the other stuff they want to do you don't need the multiverse you just do the else worlds I want there to just be one Batman that's actually living and the else worlds are basically like what if at marvel That's was the most successful era of DC comics after the crisis in through the '90s they were kicking ass putting out some of the best stories of all time because there was only one universe they had no multiverse to deal with and especially not an Omniverse where everything happened you can't make that make sense

Amanda Waller is an evil woman who hides behind a well-intentioned attitude. Protect the world at all costs. Even at the expense of the innocent. Not exactly philanthropic. I found her portrayed best in Arrow. Unfortunately they wrote her out. She still had a lot of potential. 🦸
