Ayee yo man, for sure and thanks for the comment. Yea if you want the softest of the soft, these are them. Wide too which is nice .They packed out a good bit - I’m having lots of trouble still finding the perfect snowboard boot though. I went more true to my size and my feet want to go back to more toe room - so still tryna figure it out but these at least doing the trick in the meantime.

Great review! I might pick these up if there are any at the End of Season sales. I see you still have the Nidecker Supermatics. Has your opinion changed on them since your review last season? Would love an in depth video or post about it!

Hey thanks for the comment and if you want a softer boot with double Boa for slightly wider/bigger feet - these are a great option. I like laces but once you go double boa the convenience is hard to beat. The Supermatic have gotten better with time and use. Also since my new boots are smaller, they fit better in the Supermatic and make the whole process easier. Also I’d recommend a a softer or kid flex boot, as the Supermatic are a bit stiff as your figuring them out. But do loosen up a bit. Unknown if will get around to a follow up review, but my opinion on them has changed slightly where I would recommend them moreso after using for 2 seasons. Once you get through the learning curve and the moving parts get some use, it’s a nice well oiled machine. The new versions are prob even better (more size options too - these are the OG versions). And think there is a Carbon fiber version on the horizon which I would say is your best bet (since the downside of these is they are a bit heavy - but Carbon Fiber will lighten them up a good bit). Compared to other steps ons, I think they are the best. If your over bending over to strap in, give these a try or wait for carbon ones. The resale value seems good and they are often sold out, so if you don’t like them I think they would be easy to sell. Keep in touch with what you do and good luck.

dc control pack out fast! great in the beginning but felt too soft after a couple weeks. i have the 22' control which are rated at a 6 flex.

Yeah these def get soft quick. Agreed - been having boot issues and just wanted something that breaks in asap. Also good for surfier/skater type riders. Can tell though they won’t last forever but fit me good and work well sooner than later.

Are there any major differences between the 2023 and this 2024 model?
@TravisVarga4 ай бұрын
No I don’t think much.

This is confusing me, they were a skate shoe brand first but now they’re making snowboard boots. (Is not just DC that has snowboard boots but vans as well)
@TravisVarga25 күн бұрын
Yea a lot of these brands seem to be doing it - Ken Block was also big into mountain snow life so it makes sense there. They also (with vans) have more of a skate style, as opposed to Solomons etc which (in person) don’t look like skate shoes. DC snowboarding boots seem to be some of the widest and fit my foot the best. Until find another brand just got these.
