Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

this figure is the only preorder i have ever actually received from Walmart. it was on time, got to me quick and every thing was smooth. I was amazed. Im so sick of Mcfarlanes hard-on for Batman I could vomit. Mattel was big enough that they could afford to give us ALL the characters even if some didnt sell great. But McFarlane is too small so he cant afford a single figure underselling, so he makes 80% Batman/Batman related characters. If he couldnt afford to do the DC Universe entirely, then he shouldnt have bid for the license.

I think I'm done with the McFarlane multiverse line! The articulation and scale is all over the place and being a huge Batman fan I'm actually sick of "only" Batman not to mention the character designs aren't for me, I can't just buy a figure because it "looks cool... dun dun" direct quote from mcfarlane! I'm all for the Batman beyond wave and will be picking those up but if he's not going to move away from Batman he needs to focus on a dc cinematic subline of figures an vehicles, hell the movies and tv rights to 7 inch figures was one of the biggest selling points to McFarlane getting the dc license! I can't be to only one that wants a classic Batman king tut, Eartha Kitt catwoman, Dean Cane superman, smallville justice league including a regular Clark Kent and Tom welling in the smallville finale trickery superman costume that we never really got to see, it can even be re-used for a superman returns figure, hell I even want a Halle berry catwoman figure... or am I alone on this!

I cannot stand this figure! It has some really great elements for sure, but there lost in the busyness, clutter and over all bad design. Arguably worse articulation then most figures, the daggers and chest piece getting in the way The swords sitting on top of the cape?? How does that even work? The weird wrist stuff going on...this figure hurts my soul. Then Shartimus brought the other figures out and I instantly had relief. How can a company produce such good figures...then slap this one out and call it Gold Label. This is just my bias opinion, but damn. Da fuck Todd.

The overall designs and articulation schemes of these figures have always seemed off to me and the actual paint seems cheap on most but not all of these figures. Also most of the figures are Batman or Batman related and i have liked only 1 of the Batman figures (Hell Bat Armor) There's definitely a alot of room for improvements

Uninspired? Considering Batman is one Todd's top two favorite superheroes (other than Spawn who he has said he created as a metaphor of himself in an interview), he combines elements of Spawn into this. If we can have any other examples of being inspired for something this? However, it's Todd's own creation. As a creative artist, he definitely came out with something inspired.

@@georgestaker7610 not every Mcfarlane is great but these marvel legends by comparison are starting to look like WWE figures. Legends need to go a 7” figure profile.

@@georgestaker7610 legends have been devalued by these Mcfarlane figures. Just like the old DC multiverse figures were in comparison to the legends line. Now hasbro and marvel need to step their game up.

@@georgestaker7610 I went back to my local Walmart to buy the Gold winged Wonder Woman for 15.88 but she was gone. I saw one prowler and five peter b Parker’s so I bought the prowler. As soon as I left the store I had buyers remorse. These Mcfarlane figures got me spoiled now.

@@byronrainer9121 Yo me too. The thing that draws me in is that almost every figure has a unique sculpt, and it’s own set of details. I do still like marvel legends just as much though. They just lack the detail these new multiverse figures have
