@@DareToEntertain I just watched the first movie last night and I am watching the second movie right now. Why was Wonder Woman a part of the so-called Intelligent think tank? I read the original Crisis Books a long time ago, I don't remember think tanks, and I don't remember Wonder Woman being one of the smartest scientific people in the universe. If anything, Lex Luthor or Alexander Luthor should have been in it. One of Superman's most forgotten powers is Superintelligence, and it would have made more sense for him to be a part of the Thinktank. When did Wonder Woman become a Scientist? Why did they replace her with vixen in the first movie as one of the founding members of the Justice League?

These DC animated movies were much better quality from 2008 to the mid-2010s. Dwayne McDuffie is greatly missed. Not only did he do wonders for Static Shock, but he contributed overall to DC animated stories. I think they need to stop the shared universe stories and go back to just one offs. Under the Red Hood, GL Emerald Knights, JL The New Frontier, All Star Superman, etc. We need this level of quality again They should have adapted the Crisis on Infinite Earths from the comics and did it as a separate trilogy, not beholden to this "Tomorroverse" contiunity.

@amarcellus1714 I really agree with you because I missed when Dc animated movies had really great animation that it almost fooled me to that that they were actually from the movie theaters themselves. But now the new animation really does look like straight to dvd quality. I really miss Dwayne McDuffie too he was such a great writer and now the writing in most of these Dc animated movies just sounds like it was written by a High schooler who writing a really bad play. I also really don’t care about the casting choices, please don’t think I’m being rude but I don’t care for Stana Katic’s take on Wonder Woman or any of the other castings for most of the heroes or villains even Jensen Ackles Batman it just sounds so he’s reading the lines. And I think this leads to Andrea Romano because that woman was one of the greatest voice casting and voice directors in the Dc animation industry she made the cast bring so much emotion for their roles like Maria Canals Hawkgirl her war cries really sounded genuine, but now some of these new voices just sound lifeless and not really putting in so much emotion in their characters but what do you think?

I am a massive DC animation fan who has been watching their stuff for decades. I’ve loved most of their animated movies…but right now I’m about halfway through Crisis part 2 and I am HATING it. It’s ridiculous that I have to stop a 94 min movie half way in since it’s legitimately short by feature film standards. However, it FEELS intolerably long because of how slow and lifeless it is. Seriously, between War World and the two Crisis movies so far, how did this weird, choppy plot jumping become the Tomorrowverse house style? It’s just so bad. I love the characters and setting the way they are in the source material and almost any other adaptation. I am hating the execution here. It doesn’t matter if a movie has Superman and Batman in a massive crossover epic when the plot is so lousy and lacking in basics like structure and pacing. Things we take for granted in any other show or movie. Also, who the hell thought it was a good idea to make PSYCHO PIRATE the main character of this movie? Who is that supposed to appeal to?

In this film, Mr. Novu at one point lets slip to Kara that given the circumstances; seeing as there's very little odds *at best* of coming out anywhere near surviving this assault on *all of reality*, an *extermination-assault at that* that his only hope is to do SOMETHING while he has the chance. Of course morally bad noncorporeal alien beings would throw themselves into this effort by Qword and their scientists, plus the "Time Trapper" at that- the loyalties, but there is NO alliance between those factions- these evil factions *absolutely* plan to wipe eachother out completely! It is simple opportunism, nothing besides.

Right about near the end of the film; if I were the bad guy's leader; I'd simply say to the troops at my disposal: "Just sit back and enjoy the show; boys; then we're going to finish off whatever's left alive when their fight ends and they're too weakened to fight back." and relax as we watch the heroes fight *eachother* together- as idiots! Only thing is: when John Stewart blew up his ring and lantern; he was kind of dumb: as the foes they're facing will fight as holographic soldiers would: and they're simply going to send in a new wave of them to finish him off.

I have in real life some experience with the type of temptation that Charles's giving Kara in this film- I do deeply disagree with you about this being any kind of badly done or bad animated film, let alone anywhere near the *worst* of them- I actually know it to be one of the best, in both standards it is portraying and in quality of storytelling. Charles, if he is still himself- for he may well be under-the-thumb of or overtly possessed by the anti-monitor now when he's having that hallway chat with Kara about payback for the demise of the legion of superheroes- but *that* if to be done will *Only* be done in the proper order of operations of the campaign, to paraphrase Thrawn to Dorja in his own campaigns; not as an agent going off half-cocked in a pathetic vengeance quest; that influence automatically disqualifies Kara from being in field operations given that compromise she's already undergone!

I deeply disagree about this being anywhere near the *worst* animated film; there's a LOT of solid storytelling in it; not the least of it all is that the state of Qword really do appear to be ideologically in league with a real-world supervillain type by the name of Marx, Karl that is, with how he would go around quoting the *villainous* spirit from "Faust"- now they simply *did* what he wanted to do: they went for the obliteration of all existence. With Invincible coming out and stealing DC's throne as the "Edgy" and "Mature" Superhero media, Marvel owned by Disney and thus having welfare/insurance to assure they will exist forever, and also Xmen 97 being a surprise hit, and WB being in only increasing crippling debt, DC NEEDED these movies to succeed. If these movies were the real finale to the ACTUAL DCAMU maybe they would have. Or even a final return to the original 90's Bruce Timm universe. But instead they are the ending to the Tomorrowverse, and they seem to be dead set on telling DCAMU fans that the original universe is dead and never coming back no matter what so I'm just like "okay DC, well I'm not coming back either then". Also I'd like to say that these movies have the worst possible release time. Invincible Season 2 has overwhelmed them in terms of audience & social media attention. Hazbin Hotel came in for the scraps. And then the third Sonic Movie is gonna be coming in to finish the job. Literally nobody gives two shits about this movie trilogy with all of the other things being released right now, and that is perhaps the greatest insult to DC's legacy. In the comics this is one of the most pivotal and important storylines to have happened, and as a consequence of all the fans DC has pushed away over recent years this adaptation of that storyline is being left in the dust as people flock to Xmen 97, Sonic & Invincible.

Roughly about halfway through this film in question- the *actual* animated movie of a sort that is: Mar Novu to Charles apparently paraphrased as "You dummy! If I didn't trust you *as a colleague only*, I'd be hamstringing *myself* in this job- I actually *Have* to do that to obtain my own goals; *you* sir are the *musician*; your job is to maintain stability and work efficiency by smoothing people over in this task... even such odd assignments can be vital in a given situation." as he explains how this would work- and as far as trusting the baddies: yes, we kind of *did* regarding Charles's former Nazi coworkers: we ended up harvesting their country for scientists- it was relatively easy; seeing as they knew *full well* that the primary *other* option would be to wind up in the Gulags- which's *exactly* what happened to those who fell into the custody of the Reds- or, as Raul Wallenberg met his end in apparently Lubianka for all I know when he wound up *as a diplomat no less* in the custody of the NKVD following the obliteration of Budapest Hungary in WW2... that had effects that the Kremlin ended up turning to their Bulgarian vassals to do their dirty-work. Course, to Kara I'd reply "Then why'd he keep you alive?" about her kind of flip-out-freak-out about him apparently only rescuing her because her escape pod was blocking his view of her homeworld *self-detonating* as it did!
@chissstardestroyer2 ай бұрын
These foes they're facing have a definite hierarchy; they really *are* based on command economics in the extreme; with the average individual having *no* freedom at all in his tasks, period; so most of these "shadow demons" really are mere battle-fodder; ironically: one of their apparent typical battlefield tactics is to draw someone into going berserk- such as they mind-screwed Kara into a revenge campaign via Charles; their puppet- *literally* puppet here: he's really got very highly *questionable* free-will by then... depends really on *how much* of his free-will he's signed over to the anti-monitor! Not to mention that evil works *exactly* like the Politburo did in "Court of the Red Tsar" so whoever this anti-monitor really *is*; it'd asap direct him to *its* head boss: who'd turn out to be the Red Tsar of "Earth 666" of all beings- much to his humiliation and degradation!
@chissstardestroyer2 ай бұрын
I have to hand it to Mr. Novu: he's got *exactly* the right kind of character-spine to be working on this kind of task- and not all that matters is data; character and values are what *directs* your use of data and what data you devote yourself to obtaining- that's *very* wise to attain; but above all: in *this* kind of case: you do NOT go for feeling bonds- those come later, if at all; and you may have to shut down all bonding besides the most platonic of coworkers to be able to fulfill your task- come what may: in *this* kind of case: you WILL do exactly that, regardless of your ability given this kind of circumstance! Scientific method? Yeah, you *want* that, and you *NEED* to have All ideas available and explored, bar none- especially in *that* kind of case: or be obliterated for failure to grasp the necessary data. So use questions, and have NO items nor ideas you'd not question and/or doubt, come what may- but look into every single option, bar none; but critically thinking these things through!

Words are used by *minds*; so who's talking to Kara at about 22 minutes before the end of the film; what's the *name* of the being addressing Kara? If you notice; the anti-monitor categorically refused to give Charles its contact data- that'd make his role as a wizard highly questionable at best: hard to contact his boss by identity; but since evil's agents really are *cowards*- that logically follows. I mean, Charles named *him*, he didn't give his identity to Charles; he *acted* like the idea of identity made no sense to him, but he *is* sadistic!
@chissstardestroyer2 ай бұрын
When Huntress says that *that* was a little too close to the shadows: I'd reply that darkness and evil are NOT in any way the same thing- evil is summarized in the category of sadistic abuse, of both self-and-other at the same time, come what may- yet darkness simply means that something's interfering with the light: the two are different in the extreme. Yes, evil does tend to like the darkness, as it is easier to hide one's immorality in it; but darkness and evil are NOT the same thing, not by a long-shot; evil is summarized as a mentality, a 'flag' so to speak of union with sadistic devastation as its main and only real goal. Goodness and light are likewise NOT in any way the same thing; to equate them is fundamentally *dumb*... the alien monsters/evil sprits they're facing in this really do operate on the agenda set of morally bad ideas: that's really their *only* weapon ever: ideas!

As only an *evil* entity would ever offer to anybody *godhood* ever; stay far away from any colleague relationship with *anybody*, and every single side that ever offers anybody any share in divinity; as that's absolutely a raw deal, no matter who it is: it is an evil entity offering you *that*... that's basic moral self-defense and solid common sense!

Interestingly enough, in this film: the being they're dealing with as their foe is apparently also the "teacher" of Karl Marx in his more vile and loony poetry and plays- he was an accomplished poet and playwrite come to think of it; but his works really had apparently really pro-immorality-mentality and message to them; be careful when and if you go exploring around in his mind via his writings; you may really scare yourself with the ideas you meet therein. But he clearly *did* write a poem where he pretty much recasts himself as humanity's devil-character; and given the antimoral fake ethics in his books and present in the fake religion he set up via his books: that role is pretty much well-earned.

just finished watching Part 2, I started watching a few random DCA movies as I just started reading some of the comics for the first time as of a few months ago and knew DC's animated shows and other movies like The Killing Joke were pretty good. but as for Crisis on Inifinite Earths, both parts of the movie were as boring if not more so than the actual DC event comic that it was based off of. and part 2 is THE most confused random mess Ive ever seen. Its Not good to be starting 2 whole origin stories in part **2** of a 3 part series. I mean hell even Into the spiderverse atleast made their origins brief in like a couple sentences infinite crisis just uses like 10 mins a pop to unfully go indepth for each character like it's trying to create some kind of backdoor pilot for their own tv show spin off or something

Very interesting role-models Charles has selected; seeing as Long John Silver really is a *seaborne gangster* for short; and pirates really were evil gangsters on the high-seas. And the role-models and intellectual associations you select *shape your character*, maybe that's why he's really not pathetic but a completely unreliable traitor in the extreme as yet unrevealed- and I had just begun to despair that morally sound stories were gone forever- then I stumbled on *this* film: and it really reignited my delight with solid storytelling!

As I write this reply; I'm approximately 1/3 of the way through the film; and I can solidly assure you that the values in this are solid- if not the choices of the characters.

To draw on a remark by John Constantine in this: those little blue blokes were *annihilated* by Darkseid when he assaulted Oa; as that really was his goal: a genocide of the lantern society's government- and sound tactics at that: you eradicate the *capital* having trapped the government *inside* to do the most damage with the first strike imaginable before any feasible resistance can be mustered against your forces- yet Darkseid's realm really is supposed to be symbolically Hell.

I loved the WarVerse (we all love what we love), first time i saw the first installment, Superman: Man of Tomorrow, i had a feeling this new universe was going to suck..

Though, in regard to *this* film: I do love the office squabble that results on the grasping that these antimatter waves; a truthful antimatter tsunami; as those *always* have multiple waves of that kind of thing; as Novu walks into the research laboratory and the squabble results when someone says that this would be most likely a rational and deliberate *assault* from somewhere unfathomable to them- as it turns out in those stories: that's spot on about what's been going on.

And to boot, the *last* individual to be verified to have seen Raul *alive* was Eichman's deputy- who'd been his cellmate- from there on in the story hits the rumor wall as things get stranger and no clear details come out of where he was or what was going on- as his and the rest of the diplomats from Budapest's fate was sorted out between the Politburo near and at the end of WW2.

Theyre not great, but i would say that theyre definitely not the worst dc animated films. In my book legion of super heroes, titans judas contract, and batman ninja are worse

You pretty much just hate on everything huh. I do agree oart 2 is weak but 90% of your videos are negative reviews. Unless its about an anime. Seems biased tbh. 90% of all anime is overhyped weird garbage. (Except Dragon Ball)
@DareToEntertain9 күн бұрын
3 of my last 5 comic book animated videos have been positive. Hating on everything is beyond exaggerating. I watched a few bad anime’s in a row with the tomorrow-verse having some stinksrs in a row. And the watchmen video isn’t even that negative it’s just disappointing. And 2 of my latest anime videos have been incredibly harsh so no it’s not bias. Really unsure what you’re on about mate I’d say next time just engage with me normally and discuss what parts in this specific video that you disagree with me on. For you to then go onto to say 90% of all anime is overhyped. Now that’s negative and disingenuous

I didn't watch the movie. Didn't know there was going to be another one 😶. I love DC too! My first exposure to DC was Superman the Animated Series, then Batman, then Justice League, then Teen Titans as a child. Man that was when DC making their best content. I feel like Young Justice was amazing in season 1 and 2. I did like the DCAMU for what it was, except for how it ended. It introduced me to Damian. What I want to see is good storytelling from DC and great cohesive action sequences. I do like the connected universe. I feel like if they're able to find the right balance of aspects of Young Justice and Justice League, ti would be good. I also think make new stories. Focus on someone else other than Batman. Also a different type of animation.

the thing with people using the word crisis on infinite earths is because it includes the prime earth and every other earth but when they say all infinte earths but there is almost 4 crisises how does that include infinite earths? there is no weight to the word infinite.
