DC Transit Day at the National Capital Trolley Museum

On January 28th, 1962, streetcar service was suspended in and around Washington DC. And since 1970, the National Capitol Trolley Museum commemorates this day by hosting a parade of streetcars and maintenance cars, as well as rides, shop tours and more. This year we were treated to four cars: Toronto TTC PCC 4603, DC Transit 1101, and Capital Transit Co. 09 and 522, the latter two of which came out of hibernation to participate in this event.
