I think this time is really it. They made several phases each with about 40 players instead of making 1 big phase full of players to interact with. I logged on yesterday and the map was so empty I just logged off. An online game is supposed to feel interactive and full. This feels empty and boring if you don't log on with a friend.

Yep I'm a 10 year+ player. I have so many artifacts at 200 I lost count. And I have 800+ skill points. I used to be hardcore with the game. Now I barely play and when I do it's casually. I don't give daybreak money anymore. Not worth it because they've shown they do not appreciate me as a customer and they don't put money back into the game. Everything new that gets released is designed to suck more money from you.

It would see a revival if they updated it to PS4'/PS5 graphics. Still basically using PS3 launch graphics isn't going to cut it. Everyone chills at the WT for the most part with an occasional break in from villains

Feel the same but probably even worse about it then you do, Been playing since before PC/PS Crossplay on PC.. I guess I played so long because of the amount of feats ive gotten over the years, I have nearly every pve feat complete and 70% of the pvp feats so every time I feel like "Oh this is the LAST TIME.." I always end up comming back, that and friends ive had for 10+ years. I wish DCUO was treated better, got the better graphics it deserves, had all the allies taken out of the store and make them only earnable in game, same with all that extra xp and stuff for artifacts. P2W aspects that could be fixed, do away with time capsules and bring back more frequent Booster Bundles with Exclusives like the Cosmic Material, OG Auras where and make more things that you can no longer obtain. DCUO 2 would even make me happy, Restarting NEW and all, Hell I FULLY welcome it just to have the experience of being a noob and actually having to try in old content.

They’re not going to change anything about the game at all because they are completely confused as to why we play this game in the first place because it is so bad, they don’t know why people still play it so they’ll never change anything out of fear that it might kill their golden goose. Say they add one new power and it’s way too overpowered and the game loses players and they have to spend time patching the power, that is all work they can completely avoid by just letting us deal with the crappy game they’ve already given us. As business they don’t have any logical reason to change anything, just keep adding iconic styles and throw out that shaded comic mat every few years and we will just keep playing for 20 more years, it’s a genius nerd scam really.

It is sad cause the game was something special the early years it had that hype and special feel to it I remember my old ps3 account but you are right about anything this game didnt get new mechanics new power animations or powersets no graphic update most ppl play it cause nostalgia or to much spend money and time the devs dont even know themselfes what to do with this game the game concept is great but it needs a modern sequel or remake with new graphics animations mechanics they mostly do lackluster recycled dlcs and only care for new cosmetics to sell

I quit and came back at least 5 times over the years after getting bored af running the same crap and PVP should be shut down imo. Same, I've played it pretty consistently for two years. Now I get bored after the first minute of loggin in. Before I could play it for hours. It's just so much same same. No variation. DLCs are the same. Feels like a shore. No variation and dried up. I really want to like it but I just don't anymore. Not unless they make some drastic changes and I mean drastic. Give us new graphics, moving styles, revive PVP, more interesting quests. Don't get me wrong it was cool to get some black adam/shazam in the Kahndaq DLC but it was soooo low effort. They literally took the old Kahndaq raid area from like 2011 or smh and popped some new bosses in there... For real... Jeez.

I can back forming Xbox into our server, but the switch cannot. They have to jump through so many hoops, last year they didn’t get the Halloween event on switch til like mid November. Everything has to go through Nintendo and get “OKAYED” to be out in and that process takes way too long so it would damage all servers if they merged switch with everyone, honestly just delete the servers on switch at this point and just merge Xbox with PC/PS

PVP has always been broken. They tried to fox it once and the gamers had an uproar, theb stopped pvping and the developers noticed it was a loud minority and tried to give more attention to the PVE side of it. Seeing we have a skeleton crew of developers, no huge update will come out. It will just be small dlcs here and there. Like I said in the previous video, the company needs to throw big money down to update everything and bring new people or just call it a day because it was a good run.

Yeah, Dakota City is Gotham in daylight. I left when they change from Exobytes, to Arts. Grinding in Wave was, a grind!! I started in 2011. I agree they're milking the cow.

Wave was actually fun. You had to pay attention, you had to do mechanics. But you also had the choice to clear all 4 tunnels or clear 1-2 and fight multiple bosses in the middle. Or do EO. Man that was fun times back then. The game now doesn't at all resemble what it used to. So sad.

I can tell ya ep46 is JLD2. It's already in the game files. Devs will be reusing most of the stuff from the JLD episode. Tons of recycled content incoming. Btw Dakota City is actually Gotham in the daylight. You can see Wayne Tower out there but it has the Wayne signs removed and all the same buildings are around it just like they are in Gotham. It does have a few buildings copy from Metro too though.

I still play cause I’m a huge DC need and it’s damn near the only DC themed game that can full immerse me into the universe I love so much and create my own character for it. The customization option compared to most other games is still ahead of it’s time, sure could use more body models and facial feature uniqueness but to be able to change head to toe what you’re wearing and what color it is, not many other places offer that level of customization. I agree 100000% about them not putting in the effort to make it better and the copy and paste format has been killing the game while they can pump out booster bundles and capsules with pay2win feats locked behind a 0.00001% drop rate. It’s fucking Robbery. They could have been utilizing their own marketplace the way Fortnite does but they lack the creativity to do so. It’s honestly just so sad to see. Especially with EG7 outright saying they ain’t putting nothing into it anymore and any profits made from DC are relining investors pockets or funding other/new games. What’s the point of me paying for anything if my money is going to be going towards another game that isn’t the one I’m playing. The disrespect is unreal.

@@Shepdoggaming 100% the details being added with even Dakota ( I know you talked smack bout it lol) but the new vehicle designs, trees are blowing in the wind, smoke is coming out of buildings exhausts/ chimneys. it’s definitely promising. I like how it looks from what I’ve seen, the dead man gear looks great. It’s definitely promising and I’m really hoping it’ll bring my league mates and other players back. They’ve barely been logging in at all, one member hasn’t logged in since June another since February. It’s been like pulling teeth tryna get them to get on. So I log in do my daily routine on 2/3 of my toons and I’m just absolutely bored. Can’t even enjoy older content if the homies ain’t logging in to do it. I grinded my ass off for a year and a half to catch up and now it feels useless

You should've turned on the comments in your 'end is coming' video. You're correct though, the game is done. Daybreak can't even fill the empty positions they have. They continue to churn out the same boring recycled content and cash grabs. I feel a bit sorry for the dumb people who continue spending thousands of dollars on this game. If you're a new player who started playing in the last 2-3 years trust me when I say stop spending money. You will regret it if you continue to spend. You'd actually be better off flushing your money down the toilet.

The time capsules are one of the biggest scams of the game they dont want to stop bringing out more stupid capsules so more collections we cant finish I dont see this game around in 2 to 3 years the devs have no Innovation they dont want to change much about the game recycled dlcs and microtransactions will not save this game

@@melsmith7145 Yeah atleast it should not give you the collections that you already have its the same for event collections or all collections in the game would be easier to finish the collections on top of the very low dropchance I did get some exotic materials from the capsules in my 5 year playtime it was quite satisfying cause its rare and worth alot cash like black neon chroma was my rarest drop but it happens so rarely that its just not worth opening capsules its more frustating the best thing we can do is saving quarks and buying the stuff you want from booster vendor if it has 20 procent off sale

Dakota City had the potential to be a great DLC but they did a half ass job with it. First off the majority of the player base has no idea what Dakota City is or the characters that inhabit it. All they focused on was Static, granted he is the most popular character from his universe but there was a plethora of great characters they needed to introduce but they cut corners and used Dessad and the Furious Five as the main baddies and those characters have no connection with Dakota City whatsoever. Also they changed the names of Talon (Turtledove) and D-Struct (DaBomb) from the Static Shock TV show because of their issues with licensing. Dakota City should've been like a Gotham City on steroids but as you stated in the video they just keep dropping the ball.

Anyways, I do agree with a lot you are saying and I get it too. I had most SP on Xbox for a very long time (not competitively, I liked to get feats) but now I'm not motivated anymore to chase feats so I just log in for the daily reward and token and dip. Or keep my level up when new DLC is out. The burnout is real. Plus the players over here got WAY too toxic now, and don't even want to work together most of the time (or even help me because I'm villain). It's gotten really bad. Nothing is the same anymore, and all of the DLC is just rushed rehashed content. Very sad because the game has ultra massive potential. The higherups just want to milk the game until it's dry, and cut so many corners whilst adding more and more p2w features, and making the grind longer each episode unnecessarily. WB also restricts the IP so atrociously on their own IP, they even had to fill in DLC with bosses that weren't even in the comic the episode was based on! It's quite embarrassing the devs can't even utilize all of DC itself in their own game due to legal issues as well. Terrible and they don't even care because they just care about dollar signs 💰 on a graph 📈...

The devs of this game censored the word rioter when enemies in game had that name because of the 2020 riots and eventually changed the enemies name. Not to mention dcuo's studio is in Austin, TX which is a top 5 liberal city in the US.
