Sorry, I may have missed this but, I've been running for might base dps this set up with amazing results, so I can increase my supercharge uses dramatically. Might DPS Combat: single target Krypto Combat: AOE Superman Passive 1: Black Adam SC regen increase Passive 2: Aquaman SC ally cool down Am I doing something wrong here? The results for me anyway have been nice. Also looking at running this set up as a Trol/Battle Trol Combat: Single Krypto Combat : Aoe Superman or Cyborg Passive 1: Death metal Batman Black Lantern power pool Passive 2: Black Adam SC regen for Group SC Thank you for any comments

@@jerryreed9163 what powerset are you? There are not many supercharge generators that are worth it to be used in DPS stance. More often than not the EoG spam you get from healers will be more than enough regen than the damage loss from using that DPS power. But say you aren't in a gem spam group it can be beneficial to run an ally like Black Adam

for healer if ur eog spamming wit 3 sc’s id say the set up should go like this: combat- krypto or hol bot (depends on which u prefer) support 1: cyborg power regen . (this goes wit out saying. if ur a 3 sc eog spam ur only running two or 3 actual healing powers wit out shields so ur most likely going to be spamming. cyborg is great to combat this . support 2: black adam sc generator. (the meta was bmwl but this changed after black adam. if u want to constantly give greens wit out runnin out of sc u NEED this. the sc regen is ridiculous. u would use ur sc generator, priority and group heal wit this set up. cyborg helps u not run out of power since ur going to be spamming a lot since u only have two heal powers, then u pop ur generator off cooldown so u can consistently supply greens.

I found that even without supercharge spam. Celestial can easily generate supercharge using scrap of the soul cloak

I've recently been using Manacles , Circles mask, and Eog with ice . It's better than mystic imo

Ice can get away without Mystic for sure, Reso Gale negates alot of the issues other tanks have with tanking multiple adds, where mystic would help, and can keep them perma knocked down

@@ObsidianChill hmm... been using a build with Clarion, Mystic 7, and Dilustel... not sure about that setup... especially the Dilustel. Does clarion generate aggro? not sure if healing creates aggro here. Can't use EoG in my build since I don't have any Supercharges. Really thinking about Manacles though.

I guess I kind of get their reasoning, though I don’t agree with it, for not being able to destroy allies in order to build new ones like artifacts. They should at least lower the xp/catalyst costs and bump the drop rates off favor to match artifacts imo

I would have previously, but with the amount of EoG healers/tanks spamming supercharge the need to regen more supercharge yourself as a controller, when you only have 1 30s SC it would be overkill just for levelling that legendary

@ObsidianChillDCUO First of all, another great video. They are very well laid out and thorough! I'm likely to add Superman and Batman Who Laughs as a primary DPS/ Secondary Tank. While maxing them would be the obvious best choice, is there a level above the minimum needed to activate the support that you would recommend as a soft floor? Would you say they need to be at least at level 8 to be effective, or is level 6 adequate for awhile?

I think you underestimate Batman's passive for dps. He is THE BEST when it comes to open world add fights (in instances too but let's focus on just open world). If you time yourself, you will beat all 25/30 adds for the daily missions much faster with Batman. It resets every fight. So you go from group to group and get all adds in no time.

great vid I would say you only left out pet builds but Aquaman and batman who laughs covers that as well just the other Aquaman passive

tricky thing with the aquaman pet passive is that it only procs when you as a player take damage, which isn't always the case is raids. So in the long run earning your combat ally more will be much greater damage then a small temp pet dmg increase

Then js use krypto for ally summon and some of the allies are from time capsules ie black Adam and general zod for opening a few of them which yes is time consuming but it won't take thousands of hours to grind away

quick question is purple healing ray at 160 when it’s says charge up to 5x resto why when at 200 it’s says 4x resto ???

It means you need to heal only 4x of your resto instead of 5x so you need to do less healing at 200 to activate it

So say you have 200k resto, at rank 160 you need to do heal 5x 200k so 1M healing to activate it. At rank 200, you have to do 800k healing to activate it. So you need to do 200k less healing to activate the artifact Make sense?

With Fire Tanking are the cards giving that much of a boost the the 35 Dmg mitigation from Superman?

10% health or 5% boost to dom/resto or +7.5% critical chance on heals compared to a dmg reduction shield you already have with immolation and that is gone after 6 hits, which could be mere seconds as a tank. You also have to take a useless power in burnout on your loadout. The only situation I would use Superman for as fire would be doing elite plus runs where it could help the group more.

most of the time you are in EoG spam groups so a controller already has supercharge nearly on cooldown so it isn't as beneficial to level a legendary ally just for that.

Get gadgets for DPS, you will beat everyone dpsing with standard maxed arts..Guaranteed. If you wanna be top that is. It will be the same till the game ends because devs are too busy with allies nonsense and other garbage updates. Dc should add this on the game; just make 3 powers for each the best dps, healer and tank for serious players, the rest are mickey mouse for free to play players. Best is gadgets, you can be mediocre in being controller because all powers mediocre doing it anyway s.
