Cool runs. Ive ran a complete TypeR swapped DC5 Tuned FBO vs my 206whp and 222whp K20z1 DC5. TypeR in stock form was movin pretty well. His FBO K20a2 TypeS is the most beastly ive seen on YT.

Listen closely to the gear changes between both cars, the gearing on the Type R makes the difference. I think you both have about the same power… nice run though both were on point shifting

Best video on KZbin. I was curious about this. I wonder if the short ram negated the performance of the header. The short ram, from what I hear, limits top end power. I imagine the RSX is close to stock power. Awesome to see the Type Race putting work.

I want to run a cold air but I’m scared my engine hydro lock once I get a new daily I’ll put a cold air so I don’t have to drive it in the rain but I raced stock type s before with this same I/H/E setup and put 1- 1/2 car length on them but the type r schooled me😭

@@kishawnbuilds I hydrolocked my engine last year in a severe storm, bent a connecting rod is the result. That sucked. I'm still 💨 ng a cai, but will be more careful now.

Nice nice, u can get better sound quality with a wireless mic. Even a cheap wireless Movo will work. Also, you can add stats (speed, direction, etc) if u connect ur camera with the phone gps in the app. Looking forward for more future video❤

The reason why I think this is such a good comparison is.............. Because we both know the type bar comes with more horsepower stock I believe it's like 217 plus it has a better geared transmission But I'm glad that you have the 05 to 06 type S RSX because I think that's a closer comparison than the 02 to 04 because the 05 to 06 comes with 210 HP instead of 200 So I think that makes it a lot closer of a comparison plus with you having bolt on mods without a tune I think that only probably Gaines you a couple horsepower whereas with a true dyno tune I think you would walk away from him But also I think like you said if it wasn't your daily and you can put on a cold air intake instead of that short ram so you didn't have to worry about hydrolock if you weren't driving it everyday same reason why I don't run a cold air on my daily I think even with a cold air intake and RBC intake manifold without a tune it would probably be pretty damn close but with a tune with those mods you already have plus those two different mods I think you'd get him every time...... Of course if you were both full bulldogs in tune he's going to get it mostly probably because of the gear ratios and being lighter Yeah I always wanted to see this comparison since the 05 to 06 is the best RSX we get I think if you were in the 02 to 04 with the same odds he'd pull on you way worse

I agree, if he was dyno tuned or maybe even reflashed he would've walked the type-R

Yea I would have gotten beaten worse if it was a 02-04 braces I’ve put like 1-1/2 car lengths on 02-04, also how my car currently sits right now it’s FBO base map ktuner and I believe I would beat him now but it was a fun race I was curious to see the outcome too

@@jesselee4405no when we raced I was intake headers exhaust stock ecu, currently my car is fbo on a base map running ktuner atm so I think it’ll be diff this time around if we raced lol
