3:10 - "This batch of new girls is stronger than any batch of new girls they have ever had before." - Travis Wall. I don't think this is a coincidence. I think the virtual initial tryout meant that girls who might not have tried out before tossed their hat in the ring. I think this is proof that this more humane and financially equitable process can produce a great (perhaps the best) team. Again, I love the show for the drama and I get the other process might have been better for it but...I don't know. I really hope they keep some of the elements of this new process (like keeping the girls in a hotel until the final team is formed) even when the pandemic is over. I think not having to worry about so many of the logistic issues is also probably benefiting the rookies as they have more time to focus on learning.

I despise hearing that coaches/teachers/trainers tell young hopefuls that “you’ll never make it”.... it’s even more insulting when those same coaches aren’t generally actively performing themselves! I wish that young ladies understood what that statement really means. It’s not that ‘you’ll never make it’, that statement should actually be interpreted as “you’ll never make it with me as your coach”. Never let anyone kill your dream! I don’t get why they’re on the fence about cutting veterans, especially low tier ones like Meredith, who even admitted she was still behind on the choreography after a year on the team. “That’s what training camp is for.” No, Sis, not when you’re a veteran. It’s perfectly reasonable to have higher expectations from veterans who know what it takes, and to cut veterans if they’re being outdanced by rookies. You take the top 36, period. She had a year to prove her potential and still fell short. ✂️✂️✂️✂️

Armani is such a beautiful soul. I absolutely love her. She has been my favorite since Day 1. She's so cute and adorable. She has a fun loving personality. That was horrible thing that her dance teacher told her. That she would not get very far with her dance career. Ppl should be very careful what they say to others. Those words will stay with them for the rest of their lives and they will always constantly replay it in their heads. Just by Armani tearing up shows that those words still hurt. I'm proud of Armani that she was able to overcome what this woman said. She is certainly proving her wrong. She is gonna make that dance teacher eat her words when she becomes point of the triangle. The ultimate achievement of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. I also love how supportive the veterans and the other rookie candidates were. It just shows that DCC is truly a sisterhood and more importantly, a family.

@@TheNonMakeupGuru not when training camp was only two weeks that year. In every other year training camp was at least eight weeks so she could have gotten through crunch time and come back stronger. So you wanted her to pass up an entire year for two weeks of crunch time? I had the same scenario. I was working full time and taking biostatistics and during my finals and projects for two weeks told my husband he might need to compensate more on household duties. But that was only two weeks out of 52. They should have given Hannah a pass given her strong performances the TWO years before. They did give some people the opportunity to do a one day audition; maybe she should have taken it. And the Covid protocol was NOT safe. In order to avoid any cases every one would have had to quarantine away from everyone else for 14 days, and that didn’t happen.

I was wondering myself if Meredith even cheered last year. You would think that performing for the season would have improved her even a little and it didn’t. From what I have seen she is worse this year than she was last year. Last year she didn’t have the DCC style, but she was a beautiful classically trained dancer. This year she isn’t either one

Meredith has great technique. When she said it is okay to play catch-up it she lost me. I honestly feel bad because she is setup to fail because she can’t do any of the choreography as well another girls. The rookies are doing better then her that is sad. Also I blame Judy and Kelly making her believe that she is cowboy cheerleader potential. It is hurting her confidence. Arami is slaying it,she is showing some black girl magic

When the girls were standing around outside the dance room, cheering on Armani, they were standing close to each other without their masks. Additionally, you can see always when they enter the room, some are in the process of putting their masks on. These are small clues that they were NOT following the guidelines throughout training camp, and Hannah's concerns about safety (that she wrote about on her social media) had a basis. I love this show a lot, but clearly there is a lot going on behind the scenes, that is not edited into the final televised footage.

okay... i see your point of view but people are going to live theri lives how they want life must go on. also they have covid testing three times a week ! they are together in a bubble and there is no way for any of the girls to get covid unless they go to one of these covid parties 🙄.

@@ginamcneal4435 from an ICU nurse, this “bubble” concept is almost laughable. You can test negative for almost a week while carrying and spreading the virus. They also did not explicitly say they tested every girl before they entered this bubble, only temp checks. What about the hotel staff? Did they go home every night? There is no guarantee of safety, wear your mask. It’s a common practice during flu season in hospitals because it works if done properly.

Are their guidelines perfect, no. But, look at all the trouble, expense and time they are putting into reducing the risk. Th girls are being tested, they are isolated within the hotel. The only way to completely stop the spread is to completely isolate. But, putting n some safety measures is a responsible course of action.
