Agree! I hated their decision to let the extra 2 girls on the squad, and made them compete with the rest of the team each week to perform at the games!! I would have been annoyed with that especially if i had been a standout favorite in camp that season… instead of knowing I earned my spot, every week would turn into an anxiety ridden question mark if I was even going to get to perform! Also I was confused about why the 36 was such an absolute number considering previous years they would take whatever number of girls deserves to be in the uniform and on that field, whether it was under or over 36 girls… so why couldn’t they just have a permanent squad of 38? 🤷🏼‍♀️ idk, but I think Meredith and Kat should not have been on this squad and Lili too. Julia should have been there even though her motives for being a DCC were not clear as to if she was just trying to pad her resume or whatever, she was still better than 3 who were put on the squad that I mentioned 🙄. Hopefully it’s rectified this season though 🤷🏼‍♀️ I love this show regardless I

Kat should move back to NC and try out for the Pepsi Storm Squad. While they are a hockey cheer team, they are some of the most popular. They are commonly on tv and we’re the first hockey cheer team in North America if not the entire world

No tbh they’re both GORGEOUS girls but they have always been the weaker dancers. I think the DCC have stronger rookie candidates than those two.

Also probably not good for the Dallas Stars Ice Girls either because they dance a lot too and they prob don’t know how to skate. Best backup options are other NFL teams, NBA teams or the Carolina Hurricanes NHL team

I think moving forward they should continue having the girls live in the hotel/ apartment rooms during the training camp process that way they aren't struggling to find a place, job, but then possibly leave if they get cut.

As someone who works in a hospital with very medically-vulnerable oncology kiddos - thank you for saying it! The face shield is essentially ineffective, even if distancing is practiced. Doesn't really block anything getting in or out, since the sides and bottom are so wide open.

I’m a periodontist and work in an outpatient setting. In this setting her shield is probably fine since it is a large area spaced out, but so often I see people use them instead of masks in public. I know masks are uncomfortable, but they are a necessary evil

That is why they are completely isolated from everyone and not allowed to leave training camp. Outside 6ft apart is following the safety rules. And they isolated the judges.

Every year there's always one rookie that looks lost and scared when they step onto the stadium for the first time. I imagine that most of them have never been in a building that big before and that can be intimidating. Some of the vets had that same look when they were in there the first time.

Wherever your will is there is your way. I'm a little perturbed, that these girls are not paid very well. They make enough money to pay them. They should. With that said. I love seeing people chase their goals. Being told that you don't have enough skill, or you're not as fast paced. Or you don't have the snap that they need. Practice work hard get classes stretch dance live eat and breathe it. Wherever your will is there is your way. Know that. You can do anything you set your mind to. Absolutely anything. If told no try try again. It's those that come back harder, that truly are the icing on the cake. You're strong will and your hard work will earn you a position. Never take no for an answer. Within yourself. Allow that to fuel you. To guide you. There were plenty of answers, in your critiques. Use them for what they are worth.
