Hi, I know this is an old vid, but I decided to purchase a Z21and WLANmaus. It works flawlessly with all of my DCC locomotives and I am very happy with it. I would however love to try a Roco locomotive on my DCC layout. I know this is a newbie question, but it is a bit confusing when I look at Roco locomotives. It appears to me that is a loco has the "DC" designation, it is a digital 2-rail locomotive and if it is an "AC" designation, it is a 3-rail Markin type using MM decoder. I just don't want to spend $300 on a "DC" designated locomotive only to find out that it is the old DC analog locomotive. The reason I think the "DC" designation is digital, is because some come equipped with sound. Any recommendation you have would be greatly appreciated.

No problem, Z21 will control M4 mfx or older Motorola decoders, can you look at the box? If it says AC and has this symbol ~ it is for a 3 rail track system.

Usually Liliput is DCC ready and Yes it will be DC symbol it locomotive operated on 2 rails.

So this is Roco's first controller with access to all 29 functions? You didn't really show how it works.

Yes, 29 functions on the first controller, the Z21 support 29 functions from the beginning. This was the first look at the unit, I will do more reviews.

So is the WLAN multiMaus compatible with other DCC wifi capable systems, such as a Digitrax System running on JMRI, or just the z21?

WLAN multiMaus is compatible with DCC systems based on XpressNet internal protocol: LENZ, ROCO, CVP and Hornby.

I have run the WLAN multiMaus on Digitrax(Loconet) system through Rocrail on a computer via a Wifi router. The system: WLAN multiMaus )))))) Wifi Router===Rocrail on Computer--Locobuffer --{LocoNet}--Digitrax central--{DCC}--Track white locos. and all works and the setup is on Rocrails homepage
