“Rest in peace, Comicstorian. The world feels a little emptier without you, but we take comfort in knowing that you’re now in heaven, sitting with the legendary creators Stan Lee and Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson. Imagine the scene up there: the three of you, gathered together in a celestial comic book shop, surrounded by the heroes and stories you all loved so much. There’s laughter, camaraderie, and the kind of creative energy that sparks new universes. We won’t forget you. Your presence in our lives was a gift. Through your KZbin channel, you brought stories to life, making each tale feel personal and epic at the same time. You had a way of drawing us into the world of comics, sharing your passion and excitement with such enthusiasm that it was impossible not to be captivated. You inspired us to see beyond the pages of a comic, to dive into the realms of imagination where anything is possible. Your passion for storytelling was infectious, and it encouraged countless others to pick up a pen, a brush, or a keyboard and create worlds of their own. Your legacy lives on. The stories you told, the enthusiasm you shared, and the love you had for comics continue to inspire future generations. Kids today and tomorrow will discover your videos and feel the same thrill we did. They’ll find solace in the heroes you brought to life, just as we did. Your influence will ripple through time, touching lives in ways you may never have imagined. In heaven, you’re now part of an eternal comic con, crafting incredible new adventures with Stan Lee and Malcolm Wheeler-Nicholson. Together, you’re filling the skies with stories that are as vibrant and thrilling as the ones you shared with us. We can almost hear the laughter and the excited chatter as you dream up new heroes and epic sagas. The heavens must be brighter with the light of your collective creativity. Thank you, Comicstorian, for being such an integral part of our childhoods. You were a source of endless inspiration. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of those you touched, in the stories you told, and in the dreams you sparked. Rest easy, knowing that you made a difference. We’ll carry your spirit with us, always.” ❤❤❤

Indeed!!! Poor Alfred lost his sons and became the Spectre. Though if they do a sequel where they focus on the universe created from Damion's sacrifice, it would be interesting to see how Alfred would interact with this new universe.

Facts!! I just spent the past four hours binge reading it and man. It’s like all of DC’s worst nightmares and greatest fantasies came to life in this one comic run. This easily in my top 5 dc comics, and Damien Wayne had some of his best development in this comic.
@Zeromaru42
@Zeromaru42 Жыл бұрын
That ending brought me to tears. Goddamn this is easily one of my favorite elseworld stories that they've done for DC in years. The way Damian goes out making the same sacrifice that his Father did all those years ago to end it all and make a new Universe full of Life is just beautiful. Unfortunately I couldn't track down the entire run of the series so I missed out on the Ending but watching this video and seeing it for the first time definitely cements this as probably one of the best events they've done in Years. They also had the Balls to do what DC would probably never do otherwise, they killed off Bruce Wayne and made Damian Batman until the end. DCeased isn't perfect but it is one amazing Storyline regardless.

Wanted to leave a message. I saw a DCeased KZbin short and finally caved into the temptation of learning about the whole story, so obviously I came to this channel. Then I read some comments about your death, checked the community tab and was so saddened to read the news. I've been following your work for years, at least 8-9 based off my "watch later" playlist. Over the years I stopped being so invested in comics but I'd occasionally come back for some good storytelling, (I saw the Flash War video in January and the Spider-Man Gang War in March). It's insane how things can change so soon. I was a kid eight years ago, barely a teen, literally coming home from school and watching your videos while I ate or lie in bed, (sometimes past my bedtime lol). Funnily enough, nothing but frequency changed because as I grew older through middleschool, highschool, and college, I did the same. I literally grew up with your voice. Such an iconic and memorable voice too, especially with how you changed your voices for the characters, it's why I liked watching you, it was excting and I didn't really feel the need to see the words when I heard them perfectly from you. These videos kept me excited for comics, even made me more obsessed than a boy could naturally be, I am so grateful for that. You were awesome, and I genuinely loved to hear you voice because it was so cool. I hope you're somewhere enjoying afterlife, still reading those pages. Thanks for the stories Benny ❤️

I don’t know how to state this so it may be all over the place.. Growing up I was into comics from a young age as my first ever toy was a special limited edition of Batman and my first ever comic book was ‘The Death of Superman’ therfore I was hooked immediately. However eventually it became something that I had to hide as I was always made fun of for enjoying them. And as a kid I was in and out of Hospitals constantly with multiple Kidney Transplants & countless surgeries for other health issues and often times I was there by myself as my parents had other kids they had to raise. And the hospital I was in was HOURS away from home so if I was lucky I saw them over the weekends. For that reason and being all alone in a hospital and shy n never wanting to go to the playroom from being too ill I kept my nose in Comic books and video games that consisted of those characters and throughout the years even though they were fiction I looked to them whenever I was down. Eventually I was shamed for it by my father and made fun of for it and no one I knew in school were even into comics or video games (Weird time right? Everyone actually was active) therefore I put the books and games down and continued life that way which sucked cus it was right when comics were about to make a HUGE return to cult status with the beginning of the MCU. Anyways long story short I met my wife and she was a nerd as well and she brought that side out of me again and I felt seen for the first time in my life. And I made a return to comics but being short on cash (In school still and sick) I couldn’t buy all the comics I wanted and all the storylines that seemed interesting to me. And then out of nowhere I was browsing KZbin and found yours and Robs channels and immediately subscribed. I couldn’t afford the books and yet that was a blessing in disguise cus I actually liked how you guys acted out the storylines and turned them into Audiobooks almost and it gave the story’s so much style! Because of you I rekindled my love with comics and I even got into buying my own WEEKLY as I was following the stories, I even got to enjoy the best of the best of comics and because of you I even read comics that I otherwise wouldn’t have even thought about. I learned so much that it made watching the MCU so much more enjoyable and frustrating at the same time hahah and it made the Animated Universe to what DC was doing that much more incredible as I knew the backstories and eventually even got to a point it felt like I knew the characters and where the stories would go. The MCU became big and since you got me back into comics and the backstories of everyone I was able to get my ENTIRE FAMILY into Comics as well and became the “Comic Guy” of sorts where they’d come to me with questions and asked how it happened in the comics and what would likely be next and the build up I made for Thanos for all the years leading up was HUGE and like me it made my father Appreciate and Love ‘Infinity War’ & ‘Endgame’ on a whole other level. Because of you I went from being shamed for comics by my father to having an incredible moment when it came to Infinity War & Endgame films with my father. We even text eachother about the next comic films and what looks interesting and what to watch together. So from the bottom of my heart and my soul I want to say Thank You. Rest Easy. I’m so sorry that something that horrible happened to you and your family will be in my prayers. I have been a fan of yours and Comic Explained for YEARS! I couldn’t believe the news when I found out. This one sucks, you were my favorite guy to go to for Comics as I honestly feel like NO ONE ELSE can do what you do the way you did. Again Rest Easy, you get to chill with all the comic legends and all those amazing creators now and I bet you’re getting some of the craziest stories and storylines. ❤❤❤❤

29:04 when you actually feel sorry for lex, that's when you know things are bad. When lex luthor can not think of a solution to where he can look at Superman in defeat that lets you know it's bad.

I first got genuinely into comics because of Comicstorian’s channel, I actually just picked up the DCeased Unkillables trilogy after i saw them at Comicon and thought of him. RIP to a great one, his voice acting skills were unmatched

I had no idea Benny passed... DCeased was the first storyline in all of comics that I decided to listen or read to. (I was born in 96, so superheroes started in films in the early 00's. Every month or so I keep re-listening to DCeased, either from you or Rob. That's how I found your channel probably 1+ years ago. I can't stop.

@@DunjeeTime Thats such a depressing way to look at art to me. "Don't make anything because it might be bad". DC Animation has an okay track record as of late. Let them make things and if they're good thats great, if they're bad the comic isn't going anywhere

It wasn't perfect, but it does have pretty much the perfect distillation of some of DC's characters. And this series, and Injustice, are about the only ones to show how overpowered Alfred actually is in the greater DC hierarchy. Also, someone should really call Wally. Tell him he can come back home.

DCeased got me into comic books. The first two i bought were DCeased and Marvel Zombies. Didnt like zombies at all, but DCeased got me hooked. Love all of the darker dc comics. Batman who laughs became my favorite villain.
