I'm the same way when pumping gas I try to get even numbers or even zeroes & also like diet MT dew that's my favorite, when I drink soda I want some bite, & I noticed you pick something up off of parking lot, I do the same thing especially money, but any way great video on a great job, I remember you said you didn't want to fish the marinas, it's always about decisions, it's hard to go with your gut feelings so can't wait to see how you do on day 2👍

no, that was considered a "slight touch". The fish has to land or lay on the deck to get a penalty.

When u do fish a jerk bait on a spinning set up and when do u put em on casting? Is it when u think ur around big fish or is it a line size type of deal

DC I see you use a bait caster and a spinning reels what situations do you use them and why do you do that? Is it because bait caster is for pitching and longer casts ad control where your bait goes?

Not sure why does but generally speaking for me I use bait cast for heavier baits and to control cast distance and accuracy. For spinning, I use them for lighter baits, and in situations where you need for line to easily spool out to get a straight vertical drop with a free fall bait.

I fish primarily for smallmouth in clear open water usually with 8 or 6lb leaders. So i usually am throwing a spinning set up. I've noticed both DC and Jacob throw lefthanded reels so the crank is on the same side as their bait casters (i assume). Well when I'm looking at bait casters i think I'd like to try a left handed reel so I'm still holding the rod in my right/ strong hand still. So my question is, why do most want to reel with their right? I can see that it usually means switching around to cast. What am i missing?

Travis is a great test. It can be very difficult to find the pattern but when u do u get rewarded.
