I WON $100,000 Fishing ONE SPOT! - Championship Round - 2022 MLF Stage 3 Smith Lake

Well, all I am going to say is "It could happen!". I found a magical little spot late in the day during the knockout round to make it to the championship round. My only hope is that those fish are still there and they are still pulling water to set them up for me. To add to it, we have a weather system coming in at some point today and I am not sure that that will help or hurt me or if the event will be shortened. A lot of unknowns but I have to make it happen.

@@ShawnNichols79 well we've probably crossed each others paths at some point because I also live and fish THE BIG G. Been fishing it for 40 yrs myself. I moved to Huntsville about 4 yrs ago because of a job offer I couldn't turn down and have a short commute but I still own my house around the Preston Island area. I come home every weekend. Been working on those slab crappies lately and getting ready for them move up and spawn. Good luck out there and stay safe. Maybe one day we can share some honey holes.
