Hardest part about the bus box is having stuff in there that melts. Chocolate all over the fingers and gummies melting together have been the bane of my existence

Another good tip. Make it easy for your stuff to move quickly. Especially when a bus and it's AC die in the Texas heat. Had like four or five bus shuffles one season and became very important to stay tidy to move.

I feel like recording on the bus is kind of a “meh” type. Obviously if we are doing drag night on the bus you shouldn’t record that, but if it’s something harmless I think it’s fine to take a snap

One of my favorite things I ever had in a bus box was a small jar of Nutella. The people sitting around me all had one, and we would take turns sharing different crackers/snacks with each other that we would dip in the Nutella. Many amazing flavor combos were discovered. Oh, and you gotta keep the mini gatorades on standby for post-show recovery.

Bring Hairspray. You can get some from guard people, but its better to have your own so youre not scrambling to get some before the show.
