Columbo, Jessica Fletcher and Morse just to name a few appears to have been schooled. If you put them together and then mix with a Black British Caribbean middle aged female who probably had to deal with a whole bag of nonsense to get to her position and demand respect kind of vibe is nice. Love, love, love it. Please don't fanny it up.
