The murder victims always turned out to be the biggest villains on this show.
@anaderol54082 ай бұрын
😂😂 Unlike these days - whenever I watch a true crime show the victims were invariably "lovely, kind, generous, fun, hard working, loving parents, loving offspring, the best sibling and / or friend, pillars of the community" etc.etc. Never, it would seem, do dastardly people like JJ get their comeuppance.

@@anaderol5408 If a murder victim receives enough attention for a TV show to be made about them, it's usually because they were kind, lovely, etc., so their next of kin made a fuss about them. Nobody's going to make a fuss about someone who always acted like an asshole.
@anaderol54082 ай бұрын
@@MsLogjam But is that really the case or is it more that people feel compelled to NOT speak ill of the dead?
@MsLogjam2 ай бұрын
@@anaderol5408 Like I said, if a person actually was kind, loving, exceptional, and all that, it's more likely that their family and friends would make a fuss about their death if it was suspicious and then it would receive more attention. Ann Rule's true-crime books were almost always about victims whose deaths were a serious loss to the people around them. But those are real cases, not TV shows. This show is like a morality tale, suggesting that this is what happens to wicked people so take heed and all that.

Do women ever learn??? At that age, why are you still fighting over men??? Why allow them to manipulate your emotions or gaslight you? I know this is a show, but it happens in every day life & I don’t understand why.

@kathrynblingliciousnesshacks It often pays to read the comments first, and this is one of those times! Thank you! That sort of storyline would irritate me immensely, so I won't bother with it now 😛

Benjamin Whitrow (Eric) was the father in pride and prejudice. He also featured in an episode, I think it may have been Midsomer murder.

The person being attacked wouldn’t stay on their back thrashing their arms. They would twist over and push up with their arms. Not only that, he had at least one arm completely out of the tub with his armpit on the edge. No way would he have relinquished that hold. Try to make it more realistic.

So ridiculous. The two police women (detectives?) travel to murder scenes with their evening gowns packed just in case there is a party at the old folks' home the night after the murder. Too far-fetched for words....

They were given dresses (which just happened to fit them!) by the inmates. Check the scene again at 27:51 where the 2 detectives emerge from the bathroom.
