I've just set up a Sony hw65es that I got for $400. 64 hours on the first lamp. I'm absolutely over the moon with the color and resolution at 1080p. The newest most expensive projectors are to much for the high majority of homes. But they do allow folks like me to gain a cheap quality projector when rich folks want to upgrade 👍👍😉😁

Interesting, it’s wild that UTS projectors have 3 RGB lasers and JVC and Sony is still stuck with single lasers! The only one that has RGB lasers are Barco and Christie but they cost a ton of cash!

Are movies in bt 2020? I know they're in dci p3 but do they benefit from the bigger gamut? It's fair to say to stay in p3 and accuracy rather then the small bt 2020 increase
