DCO2024 - Developing for Inclusion: Building accessible menus with accessible-menu

In this session we'll be going over what accessible-menu is, how to use it, and some lessons learned during it's development.
We'll start with what accessible-menu is, the initial goal, and why we made it. We'll touch on why we didn't go with an existing solution and why we chose the technology stack we did.
We'll then go over the road from concept to the official release of v1 all the way to v4 and the various problems and issues we ran into along the way.
Finally we'll go over the new Drupal module for accessible-menu, what the future of the project looks like, and how someone can contribute to either the Drupal project or the source project.
