How do I get two input wires as input on one point? Like shown in the video at 10:40. When I add the second wire, the first one deletes.
@DCOParametric3 жыл бұрын
hold down shift to add more inputs

Is it possible to merge 3 sets of points? I find the contrast is a bit too high for my liking, and I want to soften the fade a bit
@DCOParametric2 жыл бұрын
Yes but there's a different process for that similar but you need to extract the numbers between the limit as different set of points

Sir how can I do it in more detail? The picture I used has wavy hair, I want to give details.
@DCOParametric2 жыл бұрын
With this approach the detail is determined by the density of the point cloud created. So more points = more details

How did you get the two part domain looking thing at 6:00?
@DCOParametric2 жыл бұрын
construct domain component allows you to set a specific number for min and max

@@DCOParametric I get a single constraint, I don’t get how to get the second to pop up
@DCOParametric2 жыл бұрын
It should be there. Send me an email to dcographicstudio@gmail.com with the script and I can take a look. But It should be there. I can also send you the script from the video so you can see the whole script yourself. 👍😁

Great tutorial! Very nice and informative but now how do I turn it into a 3d geometry?
@DCOParametric Жыл бұрын
There are various ways, just be careful because this step is very computationally intensive. And this can cause crashed. So make sure you save before. You can use boundary surfaces to create a surface at each cell, and extrude, either by using a variable number or a constant one. If this doesn't help, send me a message to my website, This way I can help you further. copetedavid.com

Is there any way to get similar results without the lunchbox add-on?
@DCOParametric3 жыл бұрын
yes, you can replace the lunchbox component for isotrim and extract the midpoints, and use those as the pattern

@@DCOParametric oh, thanks a ton mate, I will try to make it in the following days

does the image have to be black and white?
@DCOParametric3 жыл бұрын
No, if the image has good contrast between light and dark it will give a good result.

how to give thickness to individual cell? so that i can get it ready for laser cut
@DCOParametric3 жыл бұрын
yes, you can scale the cell from the midpoint, to create a frame
