Nice video. Good to see the old "steam" guages used! You landed well, but if the GS is intercepted from below it makes for easier tracking.

Love the all instruments navigation there. Its too easy to take the TVV for granted. I almost forgot how in my IL-2 days I'd have nothing but the ADI and the VSI to know if I was doing anything right. I think too many people get caught up learning the gadgets and never really learn to "fly" this plane that so many people laud for being just that, a modern warplane that you can actually fly instead of navigate by Fly by Wire.

If you have ILS setup correctly, then you must have the pitch steering (vertical yellow) bar centered on the HSI, to be aligned with the runway.

Indeed. would be normal to intercept from an altitude of 1500agl, then decend at a rate to keep the pitch steering bar centered.

Great tutorials. If you are using ILS why do you need to use TACAN. And if ILS is available why bother with TACAN.
