Thanks for watching. Any recommendations for the next video of the campaign? I think the start up portion is kind of a waste of a viewers time. Maybe start the video off with a take off, or just flying towards the objective.

I liked this campaign. People complain about the long flight but the point of all of this is to serve as a tutorial on the Ah64. These campaigns ease you into what you should know. When I started playing this module I knew zero and this campaign got me to full speed. Also this campaign was made before most features of the ah64 were released so it is very antiquated but the only campaign that is out. For a newbie this will definitely get you familiar with the aircraft. ED has some work to do on AI aircraft and not being so useless.

Nice flight, i'm also starting this campain (my first). I wish you showed the way you enter the coordinates of the ennemies. When i try to do it on the TSD it doesn't compute. Long/Lat are not correct andIidon't know why...

I bought this campaign 4-6 months ago and after flying this mission haven't been back.. Was curious to see how you did bc for me the mission "broke" right after I go to waypoint 2. I thought I was doing something wrong and then I got the "Low Fuel Warning" kinda killed it for me and I believe I left the default loadout thinking the mission designer had it chosen for a reason.

Yeah that flight there and back blows and is completely pointless

Did you land at the FARP to refuel? Also you can start from the ground FARP and skip the long flight from the carrier.

If you read this, how many hours of sim time do you have on the AH? I have been watching a lot of different folks fly this air frame, it's painful to watch. like a bunch of drunks out on a Friday night looking for their car in the parking lot. But you seem to have a handle on it, keeping it steady etc. I'm just wondering, how much time will I need to put in, to fly without getting air sick looking at the screen. Thank you for the VOD. 🥃🥃

@@WhiskeyHunterVAT69 honestly not sure how much sim time. I don't keep track of it. If you don't have any helicopter modules in DCS the best thing I can say is that they don't handle like jets, you can't just pull back on the stick. Small controlled inputs with proper collective handling. It's not too complicated, just gotta take it easy

Thx for the nice video I think it was the first one I saw of you but I'm not sure :3 But I got a question. Why do you weapons sound so uhh lets call it punchy? Especially the 30mm. Do you use any Soundmods or do you have any special settings on that I'm not aware of 😅. I'd really love to know. However, great video man I hope to see more campaigns and maybe I'll also get my hands on the Mad Campaign when my Apache Collective arrives.

Hey thanks for watching. In regards to sound, I have no mods. All my in game sounds are set to 60% minus music which is 10%. But my "in-cockpit" volume is at 65% and the "hear like in helmet" is not checked.

I played this missions 10 times and i completed with zero hit and destroyed all the target basically just you did and when i land on the carrier and end the mission it says fail how do i finish it and go to the next mission?

Hmm not sure. Did you take off from the Tarawa or the beach? I just followed instructions, take out the outpost(bunkers), the adu in the village by the coast, and the artillery in the mountain and then the snipers or whatever on your way back to the friendlies on the beach.

Are you on the most current version of DCS? On my PC DCS doesn't update unless I click on the main DCS icon and not the MT Icon. I wish they had more campaigns like this.

There is also another part of the mission where you need to destroy artillery or something up in the mountains. You have to read the mission description to make sure you hit all of the objectives. If you run out of weapons your character will automatically call RTB even if your mission isn't done.

Does the kneeboard come with the campaign, or os it a mod?

Yes everything you see comes with the campaign minus the map and the Apache.
