AH-64 apache ULTIMATE Review | War Thunder

{EDIT}: one of my friends (@DJ_Sp3rmCount) told me that i forgot to mention that Only the AGM114 K HellFire II are tandem charged, and B model of the hellfires are not. sorri i forgor :( i am very sorry that i forgot to include the mobility section in my video, i was SERIOUSLY busy repairing my dad's household, and while i was writing the script i totally forgot about it. here's the summary on what i was gonna talk about, the AH-64 has a standard mobility with a very nice top speed for its BR(309 KM/H), though if you compare the maneuverability to other helicopters like the Eurocopter or the Z19, you will realize that AH-64's maneuverability is nothing special, the pitch control is standard, the yaw control is decent and the roll rate is nice , to say the least. the only issue (which i don't know gaijin might have fixed,) is that the stock YAH-64 could not accelerate higher than 240KM/h, but now that i spaded it it feels more smoother and faster. remember, if your apache is stock please do not go full fuel load, it will be a pain in the back to handle that thing, plus on top of that, it may not even take off the ground in some situations. overall the mobility on the AH-64 is totally standard, its not as slow as the hinds or the ka 52s, nor it is as fast as the EC 665s or Z19 or Z10s. it is best described as "standard" Also apparently one of my viewers told me in the comment section that hellfires with Direct flight path does not exist. That was a misinformation oopsie from my side, this is what happens when you take info from wt forums without resources. Other than that thank you so much for your support and your help on improving the channel and my knowledge, so i can make less mistakes like these. thanks for your support! o7

A little update on the Apache's as I write this comment they for the time being no longer have the option to utilize Aim-9L. I have little clue as to why Gaijin would remove it however that's how things be right now.

Both the Israeli Apatches actually do have built in MAW as well as additional countermeasures.

@@Bob_Dickinson You can preview them and check for yourself that way. You can see they have MAW when you hover over the pilot in the xray and you can see how many countermeasures each of them has in the modification tab. I believe it's 60 charges for the Peten and 180 for the Saraph.

What a nice timing, just got the squadron one Sadly, can't do much in GRB if you're already spotted. Any SPAA or Ka-50 will completely obliterate you

If you haven't before the chinese helicopter tree is really interesting. The Z-19E is a menace to all things in the sky with the TY-90 AAMs, and BA/AKD-9s are nothing to scoff at either. Would love to see a review at some point on either the Z-19, Z-11WA, or Z-10 helicopters which (imo) are some of the best helicopters at their BRs.

Oh i will definitely make a review on the Z19E... the only vehicle that can go upside down for more than 20 seconds... plus the most horrifying air to air missile ive ever seen. One day i will make a review on it... or soon. Maybe after the ka 50.

In regard to swapping targets with hellfires, there is a neat trick you can do when you are using hellfires really close. Normally if you fore at like 500 meters the hellfires will fly up and over the target, if you lock something else next to it, fire the hellfire and then right after lock the 500 meter tank it will re-guide into a direct attack approach. lol I like callin it the Re-lock technique

just did it in test drive and... wow... that is really amazing! thank you so much for the tip! i was wondering why i had to fire my hellfires like hydras in close range and they barely hit anything xD now with the Re-lock technique i can finally do it without any kinda problems. thanks again! o7

Oh man, once/if you guys get AGM-114L Longbow hellfire, then the longbow apache really becomes the deadliest helicopter. True Fire and Forget ability. Radar guided its the armraam of helicopter ATGMs. Also the American D model should replace the tip launcher with a missile warning system that will warn the pilot of any launches via ir camera looking for launch flairs.

Small update, the ATAS stingers do not work correctly. I've had my missiles hit bots perfectly, but if you try to hit players. It will work 2/10 of the times. I've had missiles fly through jets in custom and regular servers. Until it gets fixed I would advise not taking them. More waisted SP.

@@Bob_Dickinson Umm, early Stinkers, ATAS included don't have proximity fuses at all and rely on direct hit. Rather tall order for crappy Stinker airframe and then glorious desync, something that was prevalent about two months ago and broke top tier Air with missiles phasing through planes.
