@Wags A tip for you when creating these videos, when you want to look and zoom in on a display, when you get the view like you want, then press the TrackIr pause button to steady the screen I know you are trying to keep your head still but the whole video frame is moving a little bit, hope this helps

Everything perfect, just and inconvenient. The mission must have the win effect off if you want to be in the front seat, because George can't keep steady the heli like I do when I'm pilot. I dont know when ED going to fix that issue. It, s been reported a lot of times but ED dont listen about it. Please, ED take care of it make George more steady in hoover not matter wind speed come from because if I can do it, George can too.

One thing that I think is lacking in DCS at the moment is extensive documentation on how to set up and interact with an AI JTAC on the ground. Various videos have touched on different aspects, but nothing has really covered ALL aspects of it as far s I know. If you have the time, I would like to see you do a video on the AI JTAC.

So did the BDA report your received get wiped when your FCR does another scan? The guys I fly with find the most difficult thing is when the FCR picks up dead targets. Especially in a battlezone with multiple working airframes, not just Apache's.

They are not disappearing, just faded due to excessive time since last scan. Normal.

@MattWagner I could not get the radar hellfire to fire whilst not having a FCR myself. you quote that the wingman can fire without one but in the video the wingman has an FCR. Without an FCR the pilot in the apache cannot select the FCR sight select switch it doesnt respond and its disabled. I had my friend on a multiplayer server send me a RFHO and when i turned the FCR off i could not select Hellfire Lima but with it on I can

So how does accuracy of the missiles vary when sent between aircraft with/without the FCR? Is there a higher probability the missile will go active and pick up a random target in the vicinity if fired from a non-fcr equipped helo?

Assuming you meant RFHO, it must be done one-at-a-time. If you wish to do a large group like Pri Targets, use a Target Report.

This is kinda cool, but the thing that makes it kinda lame is the time and effort it takes to setup and hand over tgts... The fcr can p much only lock on to things up to 5km, unless its moving. No way would you take the time to set all this up if your dealing with like sa-8 or p much any AA that has missiles :\

6 km for static targets, and certainly works well for real world AH-64 crews. More about skill in using the system and understanding that going after longer-range SAM systems is not a great idea.

Still can't detect target in flat areas, tested Caucaso and Persian gulf and Syria. 4 tgt and only one ore two detected. Try different altitude and manual elevation. Fcr powered up.. Dcs beta steam version

So since the CEO of ED has said that MSFS isn't realistic enough, and that only highly realistic high fidelity aircraft will make it through testing, why 11 years later do we still not have the Cyclic Trim Beeper Switch in the UH-1? The Mi-24 has it. This has always been a glaring oversight to me as one that flew and worked on the Huey in the US Army I've always wondered why that wasn't included and still hasn't been fixed 10 years later.
