Hey Venom, partly thanks to your vids, I have switched from the Hornet to the Harrier. I'm slowly building up my repertoire and can use almost all of the weaponry. Coincidentally I downloaded the same RAF skin that you are using now and I think it's a really nice skin. Also gets me into the headspace for Harrier action. Would like to fly with you on Grayflag Syria/PG any day

I jump on grayflag every once and awhile but I play on my server mainly which is contention! And yeah the RAF skins are the best

I don’t know if you are in a position to but what has worked for me in the past with the track files is to host the mission on a separate computer and then connect to the mission from another computer even for single player missions. Then I use the track file from the server computer. The reason for the errors is that it is recording your control inputs and then replaying those over a live mission to get the replays. When you take the file from the server machine it’s using positional data and not control inputs. There can still be some differences because the AI units are making new decisions because it’s a brand new live mission that is being played

@@VenomCinematic I use a 12 year old laptop to be the server. At the moment it doesn’t need to be a powerful gaming PC as it doesn’t display any graphics but you do need good RAM and a half decent processor.

@@VenomCinematicits not intended to be a cinematic tool, but a bugfixing one. its supposed to record what inputs players made so issues can be reproduced. when you run the replay it essentially runs the simulation again with recorded inputs, but the outcome is dependend on things that might not be the same, for example an AI that decides differently or a randomized turbulence. They confirmed however that they are working on making it more reliable for recording/replay purposes as they see the value it provides.

@@broko336 Look, I've heard the excuse of it not meant for creating cinematics, but that is what is mostly used for. And Eagle Dynamics will benefit from this when fixing it as it is these cinematic videos that all the content creators are spending endless hours on, that gets people buying into DCS! If this tool is not meant for that, there is defenitely an urgent requirement for a tool that can be used for creating cinematics. And I feel it is a great opportunity for ED to explore as they are are the company that will benefit from it at the end of the day!

Between the harrier and strike eagle which do you prefer for A2G in general? Harrier was my first jet in DCS but I've since moved onto the F16 which I'm really enjoying for the speed and acceleration. F15E is looking really tempting with it basically having two F16 engines

Hey Venom Love your Vids, I got out of my Beloved Helos and Into the Harrier cause or your Videos. But was Curious can you make a Current Video on how to use the Mavericks similar to your Cold Start. I have watched probably over 20 of them on using Mavs as well as trying to Disect Videos to make sure my sequencing and Buttons are correct but I cannot get these Fuckers off the Rails I thought the 10 had some weird shit to do. I think over 130 Attempts in last 2 weeks Ive got them off 6 times. but each time was different. Ive tried Maverick straight up to TOO and it just isn't working. So if you find time that wolud be great my man and I think a very welcome Video to alot of folks. Appreciate vids and I just got on Grayflag now too.

Sorry, no ideas about track files except remove mods and do slow repair. How did you clean up the TPOD display please? Mine in VR looks terrible. Always enjoy your videos 😁

“Decimate” has to be my pet hate incorrectly used word. People use it to say obliterate/devastate/annihilate but “decimate” means to kill 10% of. It was a form of punishment used in the Roman army where, in short, 10% of a cohort was executed. Most annoyingly people often emphasise the word or say “completely decimated”. …. Yes, I’m fun at parties 😂
