Solid stuff as always. I never put together that the steering dot was way up when in loft mode (duh!).

You'll notice that the lofting is a joint effort between the aircraft and missile in this shot.... You can see nicely in the external view how the smoke trail goes forward for a moment and then angles upwards. How much angle the aircraft needs to provide seems dependent on distance to the target. Sometimes the steering dot even seems to want you to dip the nose a little.

@GotSpaceGame you know I could use a 3 or less video on the gbu 24. I always forget the different modes and how the hud symbology works differently than the usual auto drop. It almost drops like a jdam with a basket instead of a bomb fall line.
