These are really great guides. I had been messing with the F-14 a LOT, my favorite jet of all time. However, Jester will randomly click crap and mess lock up a lot. If you're using the F-14 a lot, expect a lot of frustration if you intend to just front seat the whole time, it doesn't work real well right now.

Yeah it can be a pain. Hopefully he'll get a bit smarter once the Tomcat gets Jester 2.0 like the Phantom has.

I'm frustrated, phoenix use to hit 90% tgts, even on 70nm a couple months ago, now all bandits can avoid the aim-54 and sometimes the missile just goes to the space :'(

Thanks for the quick tutorial. Just testing with F-14A and 54As, targets need to be at least 2 miles apart as far as I have tested. Any observations?

Great tutorial, my over worrying self has to ask though is when you pull the trigger is it too the second detent or just the first? I heard there was a difference?

@@AndreTheEntree I think the second detent but couldn't be 100% sure without giving it a try. I have a busted shoulder right now so I can't really get on and check.

Whenever I get into the RIO seat and click Launch Zone it doesn't actually pop anything up?

You need to make sure the vector lines are showing first... The launch zone lines seem to work off of the top of them

@@robertmantell1700 Yep! You can tell Jester to set the radar mode and range and wait for the targets to get prioritised in the TID. Honestly it's quicker and easier to jump into the back seat though.
