The stove top burner indicator light for the right rear burner is not turning on when the burner is lit. This is the only one that is not working. The burner itself works fine. Suggestions to fix the indicator light?

I have 2 burners that dont even click. I tested switch behind knob and they close the circuit when turned. Is it safe to assume that the ignition module is toas. Its 20 years old. The other spark module that operates the 4 other burners works

How do I differentiate if I need to replace the igniter harness or spark module? One of the knobs of DCS gas range does not have a clicking sound and will not light. If I turn two knobs at the same time, it will work. Thanks for the reply.

That means the little switch behind the burner knob needs to be replaced👍

I have ordered the spark module. Symptom is that It wont stop sparking after the burner is lit. Although that can be due to moisture or dirt at the burner you have turned on. In my case however, It started happening all at one and It does the same thing (continues sparking after burner lit) no matter which of the six burners I turn on. Given all burners are impacted and all the probes are being bathed in flames (lower ring next to igniter probe has a blue flame), I deducted it must be the module. Your thoughts?

Can you try plugging the stove into an extension cord and plug the other into the outlet in the dinning room?

How do you get the spark module out when it is behind the natural gas pipes?

Hi Scott-thanks for your tutorial video, i followed your suggestion and replaced the spark module and the igniter still sparks unless dial is turned to low setting. Then when turning dial any where higher than low the igniter begins to click. I buffed off and rust(which was minimal) and there was no change. I did swap out switches with no change in outcome, do you have any suggestions?

Hi, Thanks for the video. Have you ever changed a temperature control for the 12" oven on a 48" wide range? Is there a video of how to access that control? I saw how you removed the front panel behind the knobs but I think I have to do a lot more to change that 12" oven temperature sensor

do you know if the auto igniter can be disabled? My mom has this same cooktop but says she had someone disable the feature so the grandkids would not turn it on but now she want it to auto ignite again. We currently use a match to turn it on and would like to stop having to use one. Any advice?
