We do not need a new power until they fix some current ones and maybe some artifacts. Also a new graphics on Dcuo then we can worry about powers I would wait this year out with no powers if they fix all of that

The power has to come, otherwise the ring tease was so unbelievably tone-deaf. The devs have to be aware that people want new powers and must have known that showing the ring like they did would make people think there was one coming.

I personally think the blue lantern n indigo lantern was teased n this new dlc imo. Especially the dialogue at the end of the solo from the new blue lantern girl concerning her sister.

The "ring tease" is just like every other tease they usually put out in movie trailers. You see a trailer and think they will add something great into it, but then you watch the movie and it turns out to be something entirely different. It isn't uncommon. DCUO is still a story-based game, as it started out to be. Sadly, players who thought a new power was coming should be more open to also think that the opposite could happen. Always keep an open mind. It is, as it always will be, a video game.

True..... but we also know that New Powers are expensive and challenging to do. So.... pretty sure they will not spend that amount of money and manpower making a new power. Assuming they even can at this point. For all we know.... the new Devs do not have the institutional knowledge to even make a new power???

😂 who cares about an NPC ... devs dont understand what players want. Nobody cares about the story, and NPC, people care about gameplay, powers, weapons, and actually things for THEIR TOON. WE dont need NEW EPISODES NEW ARTIFACTS NEW AUGMENTS. all the energy and ressources spent to make new episode, create artifacts and time capsules , use that energy to make new powers. I bet players would rather have no episode update for a year, if only they had multiple powers created.

Man I’ve been saying this for years just take the other ring powers that we have and change the colors orange: yellow power, pink: green power, black: red power , blue : green power, indigo : green power , white: green power. There you go just change the colors and match the rings mentioned above with the other colored rings and there you go I don’t understand they can’t do that

I'm really elated that the devs DIDN'T give us yet another Lantern power. We already have 3. If they do give us a new power I'd rather it be something totally different from what we have. Maybe like a full on mystical hand to hand combat style. Something like an Iron Fist.

Thanks for the Information that the Devs dont even try to give to us Personaly bcs they are scared of thier Failures but its like always a disappointment, I had little hope for a new Power but there were some bcs of the Teasers but hey they are massively good and Disappointing the DCUO Fanbase. And in my Opinion they can do the Power they just decide not to they can create Stupid Emotes dumb stuff in general but not a New Power wich probably 95% of ppl want... Well they will take what they can now and if they even fk up DLC´s like this one all players will be gone sooner or later. Still Thanks for giving us the Information everybody has been asking about and keep up ur good work.

Ha ha. Multiverse saying "Ahh, stupid game" was too funny. 😄 So many comments in just 17 hours after this video was posted. Guess a lot of people thought "Oh shoot! They're finally going to give us (clicks on the video to hear bad news)...oh wait." 😊 Yes at this point, there's no real possibility of having any new Lantern powers. It would be great, but it's probably a lot for the developers to put out. It is nice though to see other color Lanterns within the game, NPCs included. Perhaps one day, it will happen. At the present time, I say be happy with what the game has. There are still many great things about DC Universe Online. Sticking with it for the long run. Thanks for the video. 🙂

Unrelated question, but I'm wondering about skill points. When placing skill points into might or precision, do you get a 1% bonus every 5 points all the way to 400 sp?

No. You get 1%..... for like the first 5 SP... then you get a couple of Precision for each SP.... and Past 100SP there is some diminishing return when you keep adding SP. I should probably make a video about it??

I kinda figured there was not going to be a new power. I heard they was having trouble. I don't know why they just don't make color changers to the Lanterns to the already powers, but have all the different corps colors. Would something like that be cheaper? Then making a whole new power?

@Multiverse I was hoping but deep down I knew it was going to be character related. I do feel like the new team should work on doing some TLC on the original lantern powers. Last time I tried to play a yellow lantern the powers were broken and not working properly anymore. Too bad we are not able to just change the color of the original lantern power...not the best option but I would take it. I would like for them to at least one day give us all the light ring accessories so we can look like other lanterns.

In the latest dlc on apokalypse there’s a blue ring floating around, the latest trailer had a dev holding and wearing a blue ring talking about hope. These are called teasers. We all felt they were teasing a power. Instead it was a character. Everyone was justified.

Oh, idk he had a ring, he knew what he was doing. With all the video specularing that we might be getting a blue ring the dev should of nipped it in the butt and came out to reinsure people that there was not gonna be a new power. Instead, they let the community spiral into this direction. So yeah, the dev share some blame for this.

Exactly! It's like a movie trailer. A trailer or small showcase can easily speak/show one thing or two, but actually watching the movie/playing the game just might show something entirely different. It's a common thing. Like, keep an open mind. Don't be upset if you were disappointed. 😊

I never understood why they give the other lantern spectrum colors, styles inside the game but not have powers for it. We have a white lantern emblem but no white lantern powers, blue lantern style, black lantern styles, pink lantern styles, purple lantern styles. Makes 0 sense.!

Black Lanterns for Villains. Take "soul essence" from the Underworld (figures whom are already dead) and use that for healing. Just an idea in case the developers want to explore that. Oh, and you misspelled villains. Switch the "i" and "a" around. 🙂
