I’m with you on improving the power sets. Preferably atomic, ice and fire cause imo they’re only good for tanking. Celestial cause while the animations are cool the casting time are too slow…. sorcery, and water because I don’t think they’re good for dueling🤷🏻‍♂️

Hey Obsidian, real quick theres no guides now a days and i tried using census web but it never works. I was wondering whats the current meta healer powers? Are you planning on making new guides at all as well? Appreciate any answer from you or even anyone else that sees this comment. Im currently water and just got back and wanted to see whats different etc....

I do plan to update the guides soon. Meta would be Electric for easy of use for both healing and dps, might or prec.

I remember playing this game back in 2015 and even from then till now its crazy that there hasnt been a huge graphic update especially after releasing it on the ps5. Im hoping that they work on that before releasing it on the xbox series.

Returning player, but never got into bases. Does location play a factor in the amount of space in lairs? For example, I want to get the house of legends but I think it would be a waste of money for my small three floor space in their estate.

the lair itself remains the exact same no matter where you place it. Comes down to personal preference where you want the entrance to be. Most would teleport around rather than exit their base entrance anyways

It looks OK, but it ain't worth 20 quid! Wouldn't it have been nice if this was a reward we could earn in-game using existing currency? Even if it cost thousands, it would at least have given us something to grind for. A reward for actually playing the game! But nah, let's just go for the cash grab option instead.

I always loved what you do for the game OC, but this game is spiritually dead. This base should have come out in 2017. Most hold on to DCUO via the sunk cost fallacy. This game is a husk, a zombie of what it was and could have been. I have one task left in this game, holding on for the 89 classic Batman emblem, they have to bring it back like they did the Superman emblem. After that, I am officially unsubscribed and deleting the game. The only way to get them to truly improve this game is if everybody stopped playing it.

you aren't wrong. I am waiting more to see what the next couple of episodes look like to speak on the future. With all the senior management changed and new creative director for the first time in many years, if episode 47 and 48 are subpar or uninteresting then it will truly show the community the direction.

They'll just shutdown the game if everyone stops playing it. That's how businesses work. They'll only improve the game if lots of people actually play it every day. They said DCUO is their most lucrative game, but players are too casual, so they don't reinvest. Honestly, they should get that profit to develop DCUO2. James Gunn is coming strong, soon that'll be a demand for DC, and the game we have is clearly dated, they changed the focus too many times, and it shows. Also, the base game should've come with all (and whole) DC iconic places, not only Gotham and Metropolis.
