Hey Obsidian. I appreciate the quality work you put into these videos. I've been a Quantum troll but i took a break for 3 years and came back in April. I only have 250 SP. Im trying to get to 350. I read Precisión does better than Might. Should I go precision Quantum over might Quantum if I want to be top DPS? In raids I rarely see might DPS out damage precisión DPS. Game has changed so much. My go to Quantum might DPS loadout is: 1. Singularity (weak damage, has range, its one of the fastest moves in term of frame data which cancels smoothly into the next animation) such a cool looking power too leaving a black orb on the target 2. Distortion Wave - enough said. Has range and hits like a truck and is pretty fast in animation frames. 3. Time Shift - hits hard has excellent range. 200 power cost. 4. Lift - has good range, hits heavy, 200 power cost, quick frames, cool ass animation 5. Solar HEAT Visión 6. Temporal Extortion I want to try your might single target loadout. Besides my precision dps vs might dps question. With your single target quantum loadout.....will robot sidekick interfere with the damage my other pets do? I have the trinket from the summer event forgot the name of it but its a sea pet. I activate it and I also run Grim artifact. So will my damage increase if I have 3 pets out (Robot sidekick, Grim, Summer Trinket) or am I just confused ? Im going to add energy explosión and Gravitional Field to my loadout. I really like how your load transitions smoothly into cancel more continue burst. I feel my current loadout has quick burst but I'm not sure if I need singularity to b a top quantum DPS. I really look up to your videos and I can't wait to grind my character and get my artificacts to 200 and my sp up! Thanks for being an inspiration to many.

I appreciate you making these, and I understand you use iconic powers to make the loadout competitive/optimized but I really wish you'd show options that actually only use the powersets rather than RS and HV on every single loadout.

You could use anything at that point because of the massive drop in damage compared to not running it. I am tired of hearing in game and on discord Obsidian's rotations are bad or trash because they technically are because im not showing the best. Players unfortunately will have to realize if they care about DPS then there are certain powers they will have to use, if they don't care about DPS they can just keep using whichever loadout they presently are and be ok.

@@ObsidianChill I get what you're saying, and if it wasn't apparent in my original comment, I also get why you have HV and RS on the rotations. I was just saying that maybe you could show a "pure" loadout option as well. One that displays the best possible damage of the actual power and not relying on iconics. I know that prec is typically better than might, I know that HV w/Solar Amp is basically the best a might DPS can really do. I would just like to see how good or bad a power can be on its own is all. Of course that's more work/stress for you just to show a non-optimal option but it's just a request

Rsk is just used to fill an empty slot. I don’t use it myself. Heat vision also isn’t needed even if you’re just using solar amp fir the 5% might which in that case, why not just switch to grim

For your ST loadout have you tried Einstein’s Ray instead of Gravitonic Field? I get a lot of 53-57k Crits from Einstein’s Ray. I’m parsing a lil higher too.

Florida Boii Ray has nice crits but if it doesn’t you’ll have a lower parse and GF has 3 dots that can all crit into the 30ks. You may see more spike parsers on avg but overall you’ll have more dmg from GF

I troll as well as dps so I was using grim, solar, and soul cloak since it builds supercharge for both roles. How viable is the soul cloak as opposed to using the trans card and would the melee and solo load outs work as just as well with the 3 artifacts I’m currently using?

Hey Chill I have a question that’s a bit off topic that’s about trolling. I’ve watched your previous guide to dump SP into might and power, and then into Vit. I only have 180 SP, and have about 140ish SP into might and power and 0 in Vit. Would it be better to put 100 into might and power for the max 10% increase and putting the rest into Vit until that reaches 100 points? Thank you!

I would try 100sp in power and 40 into vit. You just have to get to a point where you can sustain the debuff rotation without being empty on power. If you don't always use handblasters between the combos like I do, switch to superpowered spec instead of hybrid that will help with the power return.

I just switched to quantum from munitions. Im more of a support troll as i run the tetra, claw, and scrap to buff my team in the last dps slot. could you recommend a loadout more towards crowd control like knockdowns, stuns, ect to help with ads for me since my main focus is keeping the buffs up for the dps. Since i use a power heal for the claw and a supercharge i cant seem to find a good 4 power rotation. Thanks in advance if you happen to get to this.

So this is a year old video and I’m sure getting a reply might not be feasible, but I’ve been out of the game since BoP and I was curious... back then, Time Bomb used to be pretty heavily used, and now I’m not seeing any major builds with it used at all. Is time bomb not worth it anymore?

95% of the time it's not worth it because of how delayed the damage is and because there is a critical cap on time bomb so as your stats increase or buffs time bomb will reach its cap in damage and you'll end up wasting damage.

Take this from a celestial main, celestial healing hasn't changed one bit. Loadout is still: 1: Admonish 2: Consume Soul 3: Guardians Light 4: Divine Light 5: Blessing 6: Renew If you have a good controller in your group, literally spam admonish and consume soul, then group heal in emergencies or use Renew if the tank is losing some health. For stats, you'll want superpower affinity, and to invest everything into resto tree, then might and power. For artifacts (your options): 1: Transformation Card (Must) 2: Page of Destiny (who doesn't want a stronger and better group heal, lol) 3: Orb of Arion (if used with Transformation card, a crit will bring someone who's almost dead back to full health 99% of the time which is why I personally believe it to be better than purple healing ray). 4: Purple Healing Ray (Replace orb of arion with this if you notice that your controllers utter dogsh*t).

If you want to do good damage no, you can mix in whatever powers you choose from the powerset instead of HV or superspeed powers they will all practically do the same damage. Don't want dervish? use gravity bomb or sonic cry or warp barrage etc. Don't want HV just cycle between Gravitonic Field, Lift and Einstein's Ray etc. They'll do ok damage but everyone in this game seems to want to do the best damage they can as a dps which is why I have to use these powers.

Triple 6 Gaming amulet isn’t for every powerset, it needs to be able to build stacks quick like with a channel power or combos. Quantum would be one of those powers that don’t work well at all with amulet

you can do hybrid, the weapon choices will be pretty limited if you want to do well but you can grab brawlers and the shrunken storm weapon mastery between the quantum powers.

With the solar amp being adjusted im assuming your loadout has taken a major hit in AOE damage.

Ice is still one of if not THE weakest power in the game. The dps on all sides isn't anything to write home about, and the tanking is the weakest in the game. For now just switch powers man.

Sick of seeing robo sidekick. It’s not needed and can be replaced with something more useful

In most cases no, you add in another power you have to account for the animation time have you completing the power weighed against the passive damage done by Robot Sidekick without you having to do anything. With the CR increase the numbers will be greater than last tested but at CR 308 the max for the previous DLC it dealt 202,000 damage every 60s. I would call 200k damage every 60s without you having to use a power, stay in that animation, interfere with the cooldowns of your previous powers something useful

you just sub out ST powers for more AOE. Take out Gravitonic Field and put Distortion Wave in, take out Lift and put in Alcubierre Wave

Villains become dry after a while, the hall of doom has a really weird design (the colours are so muddled that you can't tell where the f*** you're going half the time, keep in mind i started as a villain then switched to a hero). Thus, less people play as villains. Also the "villainous acts" are unappealing to some people/don't make sense to some. Ie: why would a millionaire (you) with the power to bend the light and the dark to your will (celestial)... want to mug someone for 6 dollars? Some people are just turned off by the fact that you can push a suicidal citizen off a 10 story building (even if they are somehow perfectly fine). It's not just that, but some players are just wanderers, and with how roughly 2/3's of the playerbase is a hero (see the trophy ratio for the numbers), and due to the low numbers on villains, a league is a MUST if you want to level at even a decent rate.
