Haven't played this game in years... iconic powers are now viable for loadouts? Something about having a magical powerset or a lantern ring and shooting blue beams out your eyes just doesn't sit right with me :/

The only iconic power people use is Heat vision with the Solar Amplifier artifact that gives you a damage boost when using the blue beams, it’s basically one of the best options for single target damaga if you’re might

@@ObsidianChill Another very good option would be to use Blight combo. It gives a great burst damage to all surrounding targets, about as much as WotP, and also applies dot dmg, which allows more chances for Start to proc. I would also use Blight combo in place of spamming CS on your single target. By spamming CS multiple times, you are losing the dot after the initial burst. the idea of Celestial is to get a big burst dmg from each power and then also apply dot. If you apply CS back to back, you will get 2 burst dmg but only 1 dot. Apply CS and Blight and you get 2 burst dmg and 2 dot.

i do not understand how this power works. the whole cleansed/corrupted thing has got me lost. do any of your videos explain how these power interactions work, what order to place them in, and weather or not the combo is required? this power is just all out confusing to me. id like to play around with various loadouts, i just cant figure out what causes what in, what order or what the effect is.

I feel you brother, I was confused with the power too. The best way I understand celestial powers are that it's "vice versa", let me explain. Smite and Haunt for example, if you notice after doing the combo for haunt and smite the animation is reversed. If you understand the concept of something like move left right for one (ability) then the corrupt/divine version is right left.

loadouts will be used for different situations but ideally Celestial is used at midrange so you'd want to use the might melee rotation each time you can

For the past 2 months, I've been switching through all of the healing powers because I love to heal. Nature is always amazing for its dots. Sorcery heals are l always fun. I don't use the Circle. I use offerin 4 my pet and with purple healing ray, he works overtime

Electric has great burst heals really good for support heals especially. Water was good and really easy in my opinion the double shields are great for the group along with riptide, which cancels cool down of the last power you use. However, my main in celestial, and in my opinion, the best heals. You have to learn your combos and have them down. It takes time but it's so much fun and you can heal from down the street. The best.

Long time Celestial player here, really enjoyed the guide. I am curious though. Would you still run the Grimorium if you could only have lvl 120 arts? I know it doesn't fit with the "max potential" theme but personally I think it would be interesting to see if you would make different artifact choices if you could only have them at 120 or even 160. Either way, great vid, keep it up.

well if you are using divine light in the rotation you can still use grim at 120 for the passive pet damage because its the same as its based on CR. But if you aren't using divine light grim at 120 doesn't apply the aoe PI so you would lose damage from that aspect. Scrap would be fine at 120, Tetra etc

@Jiren The Gray I stuck to doing dps as celestial with all my sp in might and I gotta say, it hits like a fuckin truck. My number started increasing about a week after my last post and I'm out damaging bosses with people with a higher cr than me. But honestly I just focus on single target damage and not trying to go for huge AOE attacks for multiple trash adds. I've finally found a nice balance and rotation with celestial dps that works for me and clips out of animations fast. I'm out of state for work again so I won't be able to hop on the game any time soon. But I was enjoying my time while I could.

The nth metal and seals are unlimited on test so you can level to whichever you’d like to test at 120-200 etc. Each 0-200 art xp and seals wise is prob around $200-250

@@ObsidianChill true , hey Also Obsidian , I’ve been trying to make a Movement for the Dcuo community , im trying to get the attention of the Devs to change the Artifacts/Augment leveling mechanics to XP , for missions ,raids, Alerts, Duos and solos completed, so new players can stay on par with their Cr. I also believe Each CR break through should give you 1 Skill Point , and to make it fair they should give The old players their SP too for the CR’s they broke through , so they should definitely INCREASE the skill point spec so that the barrier between the real Grinders and New players won’t be crossed and we’ll still remain OP for the work we put in. Because the 255cr Skip was a utter fail , all the players lacked the Augments / Artifacts level they needed and got destroyed in T9 content, I believe this would fix the way we play DC and not only is gaining XP for Augs/Arts good for new players but it’s also good for common players too , it would make stronger Players start running other content just to get XP for the Arts , helping our new players outs, and I highly suggest that they change the Catalyst as well Dionisium- should cost 1 Source mark Quantum - should cost 3 source marks And the Purple one should cost 5 source marks.

Is it just me or does strat card work terrible with combo powers? I noticed on ur aoe u were getting like 9k crits with strat, but there were no weapon taps so it was going off your might. There were also 17k crits but I think that was from dervish or any non combo move. Same goes for your st. I also noticed this for all other combo powers including jackhammer. Im pretty sure strat card is bugged

9k would be the base dmg of the strat proc where 17k would be the crits, the strat can proc on any crit so it works best for powers with dots giving it more opportunities rather than just burst which is 1 chance so celestial isn’t too bad from that standpoint and why HV can still be viable for ranged aoe because of the aoe burning ticks

Idk it just seems that strat card is glitched if it procs off a combo power. I literally only see this with Hl, cel, earth, atomic, etc. idk it just seems weird

If you're talking about in FGS, its riddled with adds, which electric shines on a ton of adds. Past few DLC have been lacking a bunch of adds for DoT heavy powers to shine well minus FBr
