I've used DD for years and absolutely love their gear. On my last trip (The West Highland Way) I took my DD hammock, XL tarp, sleeping bag and their hammock mattress. The beauty of that is when there was somewhere to sling from I used my hammock and where there wasn't I set the tarp up as a tent. Also I've taken my hammock on every foreign holiday we've been on ('Cos who doesn't want somewhere extra to chill out in the sun?) And for a couple of years I set my tarp up outside the back of our old house as an awning. For me they're the go to company for hammock, tarp and camping gear. And just to be clear, they haven't paid me to say that, in fact I've never received anything for free from them apart from excellent service and quality gear. Brilliant company!

@@ddhammocks2418 Absolutely my pleasure, wouldn't say it if it wasn't true. Although, as for years of adventure I wouldn't bank on it since I became ill, but I'll settle for years of comfort 👍😁😁❤

Been using DD hammock and 3x3 tarp for about 5 year now never had any issues, no trees just use the ground and make tarp tent very versatile 👍🏻

A large part of your customer base will be stealth campers who don't want to be seen. From a business perspective it makes no sense not making a camo/green version. I couldn't buy one of these for that very reason. Also, I love DD products and own the jungle hammock.

I love DD stuff too (I have two of your tarps) but this is a very valid point. In England at least, the vast majority of hammock camping is realistically going to be stealth camping. Not many trees on Dartmoor!

Some good ideas. Nice to see a non green colour.

Dear DD! If there are no trees nearby and I want to use it as a tent, (+ tarp of course) how waterproof is the bottom of it? Is it as good as the DD Travel bivi?
@ddhammocks24184 ай бұрын
Hi there! The base layer of the hammock isn't waterproof so we would recommend using a groundsheet or similar underneath if you wanted to use this as a bivi :-) Hope this helps! Best, Caroline - DD Hammocks

Can the jungle canopy be used on the frontline Xl?
@ddhammocks24184 ай бұрын
Hi there! The Jungle canopy has been designed specifically for use with the DD SuperLight Jungle Hammock, and would not be fit for use with the Frontline XL - hope this helps!

@@ddhammocks2418 thank you for yoir quick reply is there any type of cover that does go over the frontline xl
@ddhammocks24184 ай бұрын
@@RoughWalkers For any hammock to be completely covered and weatherproof we would recommend a suitable tarp - for the time being the XL Frontline does not have a separate cover. We hope this helps to explain!
