It Might As Well Be Spring - Dan Delaney-piano, Roger Shew-bass and Sinclair Lott-drums recorded back in 2015 at a Jazz concert hosted by KEYBOARD CONCEPTS in Santa Monica, CA. Special memory of my dear friend Roger Shew for the 3 years we were able to play together regularly with this group before we lost this wonderful person and amazing gift of talent to the music world. Thanks for the kind words Steven! Yes Roger has worked with many notable players. He was not only one of the finest bass players anyone could share the stage with but an incredible person. The video surely conveyed we are having great fun! Hope to be posting more recordings regularly from our concerts.

Sorry to have to say, but there is no substitute for such a wonderful upright bass. No "electric" bass will ever reach such a beautiful sound color! Sad to know he will not be playing anymore. But as they say: a person is still alive as long as we remember them.
